Do You Want Flowers?

Seungkwan had stumbled into the main campus building with both hands holding a bag filled with roses and papers tucked under his arms. He's selling them for his club, SVT, in hopes of raising enough money to get new microphones that don't screech angrily at them each time it brushes against something.

"You need some help with that?" Jeonghan, one of the club members stopped when passing by.

"Nah, I should be fine. Do you have time to table after this? Around 3 P.M? I have a lecture then."

"Yeah sure, no worries. I'll see you around, Boo."

Seungkwan nods to acknowledge his club member's answer and then hauls the items to his designated table which already has the banner of their club all set up. He's grateful that Jisoo, the secretary of his club was able to take some time off in the morning to set the table up for him.

Quickly, he puts the roses down next to his chair and places the flyers explaining the purpose of his club and this fundraising neatly on the decorated table. Now, all he has to do is sit down and try to catch people's attention.

And just his luck, people started milling into the building as classes just ended and people are heading to grab food.

He shouts at no one in particular, hoping to get anyone's attention. He's gotten a few glances and awkward smiles his way when he yelled out, "Get your Valentine some roses!"

Ten minutes passed and not a single rose was sold.

Everyone either said something along the lines of being allergic or doesn't have the cash to buy a single rose from him and Seungkwan's beginning to feel a little upset about this whole ordeal.

It's one thing to perform on stage, it's another to yell at passing by strangers to give you their money. Rubbing a hand over his face, he pouts heavily while supporting his head with his hand, elbow on the table.

But he knows he needs to try. He needs something to be sold. Especially since it's Valentine's Day itself. What better way to spend his single af Valentine's Day sitting at a table surrounded by roses.

So he takes a deep breath and opens his mouth, yelling at the top of his lungs to cut through the noises of the building in hopes of getting someone's attention and no one answered him.

However, it seems like luck was beginning to change.

Out of the corner of his eyes, he noticed two people bumping into each other, one of them apologizes and rushes off while the other just nods and continues to walk past Seungkwan.

What Seungkwan noticed was something had dropped on the ground and it was none other than a wallet.

An idea starts to build in his mind as he scrambles out of his seat to snag the wallet from the ground as the person continues to walk past him.

Seungkwan stands back up with the wallet in hand and he calls out to the male in front of him with a quick, "Hey! You in the red hoodie!"

The person stops and turns around, meeting his hazel brown eyes with Seungkwan's dark umber ones.

Oh .

It's Hansol, Hansol Vernon Chwe, the American exchange student that was in his biology class and his lab partner. The one that Seungkwan definitely doesn't have a crush on. Nope, no way.

"You.. Dropped your wallet, Hansol.." Seungkwan says more quietly as he takes his seat at his table again, hand clutching onto the wallet.

"Oh- I did?" the American murmurs, rapidly patting his pockets all over his body before he finally realized that Seungkwan is indeed speaking the truth and begins looking around. "Did you see where I dropped it?"

"Yeah, I picked it up. I have it," the shorter murmured, holding up the item in his hand.

Hansol strolls up to the table with a smile.

"Thanks, Seungkwan," Hansol holds his hand out, waiting for the other to place his wallet into his hands but Seungkwan doesn't move.

"I'm not giving it to you. Not unless you buy a flower from me," Seungkwan says shamelessly. It doesn't matter if he has a big fat crush on Hansol. He needs to sell his roses!

"I-"

"Come on, Hansol. Do you want a flower? I'm sure you want once. If not, I'm sure you can afford one.. My club needs the money. We need new microphones! The ones we have are terrible," he pouts.

Hansol seems to be hesitating.

"I'm only twenty and I only got a few dollars," he says.

There's a crease between his eyebrows as he knits them together while thinking and it takes a while before he finally nods yes.

"Alright, fine. I'll take a flower."

Seungkwan can't seem to stop the bright smile that crosses his face and Hansol can't seem to stop the fluttering of his heart in his chest.

Perhaps Hansol also has a small tiny crush on Seungkwan. And perhaps, Hansol thinks, that maybe this is the universe giving him a chance to show some of his love.

"Also, we have this raffle thing that we're doing. All you really have to do is write down someone's name and we'll pick it. Whoever we end up picking will get this bouquet of flowers!" Seungkwan gestures dramatically towards the other bag on his other side where a large bouquet of pretty roses and white daisies are bundled together, held in a glass vase.

Hansol sighs out. He can rarely say no to Seungkwan, even during labs when the other refuses to dissect the frog, whining about the poor thing and how Hansol needs to be the one to do it because he just might start crying if he cuts into the frog, even though it's a partner thing where one needs to cut and one needs to help pin the body to the board. Hansol ended up doing everything by himself. He
