“I can’t believe that you are really taking public transportation,”

Park Jihyo can hear the insult from her best friend’s voice, Minatozaki Sana.

“You sure, got it bad,” Sana giggles. “A Park Jihyo flying back to South Korea using my airline is a worthy gossip,” She continues.

“That is not your airline, it’s your family’s,” Jihyo retorts but she knows that it is pointless to argue with Sana.

Minatozaki Sana is the heiress of the largest, most extravagant, and capitalism airline company in the whole of Asia.

“It’ll soon be mine, if you know what I mean,” Sana shows off.

“Whatever,”

“You know I am still nothing compared to your wealth, right? Park Jihyo-nim,”

Jihyo? She is the heiress of a billion-dollar company that offers the biggest real estate investment in the world.

The Parks, they own hotels and other high-rise building investments.

They are even listed as part of the richest family in the world.

They are the number one richest family in South Korea.

Being treated like royalty is an understatement.

They can buy an island and just convert it as their closet or something like that.

Oh, her mother, Park Nayeon had done that already. She has an Island in the Philippines where all her designer bags, limited edition clothes, exquisite shoes, and accessories are there.

But Jihyo knows that Sana is probably trying to act humble.

Jihyo figures that Sana could be following Mina’s advice.

Being humble.

But, where exactly?

Jihyo rolls her eyes.

“Sana, again it’s not mine, it’s my family’s”

“Same difference,”

“..pfft.”

Sana giggles.

“About that girl that you are dating, are you 100% sure that you’ll bring her here? I mean your mom, your grandfather?”

Jihyo feels the uncertainty in Sana’s voice.

“We’ve been dating for over a year, so I think it should be fine,”

She responds in a flat tone.

Sana hears the Jihyo’s own uncertainty.

“Are you scared that your mom will grill her to death?” asks Sana.

Jihyo takes a long sigh.

“To be honest, I am more scared that Jeongyeon will find our world so chaotic, that she would not want to be with me because of all these,”

There is a long pause from Sana.

Obviously, she is shocked by what Jihyo said.

“You? I … she is that important?” All Sana can ask her best friend.

“You could say that,” The admiration and the warmth can be heard on Jihyo’s voice.

Sana lowers her shoulder.

She does not know how to respond on that, but somehow it made her smile.

“Well, I can’t wait to meet her then,”

“You will,” Jihyo reassuringly comments.

She sounds calm and content for something.

And Sana is happy for her.

She is.

“Yoh, Sattang, I need to go, she’s here.”

“Cool, I can’t wait to see you have an enjoyable flight!”

Sana hangs up.

Jihyo smiles seeing the girl she had been waiting for.

She has her hair tied up in a bun.

She looks a little bit messy, but the type of messy that Park Jihyo would bear.

She caught a glimpse of Jihyo, and there it is.

She plastered the smile that Jihyo fell in love with.

“So sorry, I took a cab, but the traffic was unexpected, you know New York,”

Jihyo is just looking at her in bliss.

She is plastering the smile that Yoo Jeongyeon falls in love with.

They stare like that for a long minute.

“I take your smile as a sign of forgiveness,”

Jihyo rolls her eyes.

“Come here,”

She pulls Jeongyeon by her shirt.

Then she kisses her.

Jeongyeon responds without hesitation.

They shared a long chaste kiss.

“I miss you so much,”

Jihyo has always been clingy.

Jeongyeon laughs.

She loves this side of Jihyo.

“We saw each other last night, did we not?” She teases her girlfriend.

“That was last night, and you refused to my offer in picking you up,” Jihyo pouts.

Jeongyeon pecks her lips.

She then smiles.

“It is out of the way because you are living in the upper east side, kay? It’s good, I made it on time, didn’t I?”

Jihyo always acts like a baby.

Jeongyeon’s baby.

Jihyo just keeps on pouting.

“Come on,” Jeongyeon kisses her again.

“Stop pouting,” She pecks Jihyo’s lips again.

“You know I can’t stop kissing you if you keep on pouting,” She continues.

More frequent.

Deeper.

More.

More.

More.

Until Jihyo responds to her kisses.

And like most of the time, this spoiled girlfriend of hers lost track of where they are.

They share a more passionate kiss.

With deeper intentions.

They were continuing until…

A reluctant voice stops them.

“Ah.. err.. excuse me,” It is a white attendant.

“Whaat!? This is America dear, yes, we wear the pride flag, yes we are Asians, YES, we are part of the minorities, but I won’t let you stop us from kissing each other just because of that, we have rights too, It is the 20th century already, don’t you dare discriminate us because of our color, and because of our act!”

Jeongyeon snaps out.

Well… She has those tendencies.

And that is one of the characteristics why Jihyo loves her.

Her righteousness.

The attendant gulps.

Jeongyeon stands tall.

She is not going to let her discriminate her.

“I was just going to ask for your bag, so I can check it in because we are almost boarding ma’am,” The attendant looks a little mad to Jeongyeon.

“Oh,”

Jeongyeon’s mouth is agape.

Jihyo giggles.

“Yes… of course, you would, hehe, I - we – “

Jeongyeon looks embarrassed.

She looks at Jihyo for rescue.

Everyone is looking at them.

“Sorry, Diane, she’s been through a lot,” Jihyo smiles warmly.

She even pats the attendant’s shoulder.

“No worries, Miss Park,” She forcefully smiles to Jihyo.

The attendant carries Jeongyeon’s bag.

“That was a little racist of you, don’t you think?” It is Jihyo’s time to girlfriend.

Jeongyeon pouts.

Jihyo smiles.

“Let’s get going,”

Jihyo pulls Jeongyeon by the hand, then they walk straight to the boarding area.

But before Jeongyeon could realize what is going on.

They are already inside the plane.

In…

“First Class!?” Jeongyeon’s jaw drops.

Jihyo just smiles.

“We are flying first class? I mean? This is my year salary Jihyo, and not to mention it’s for the two of us? Are you planning for me to be in debt with you forever?”

Jeongyeon speaks loudly.

People are looking at them but Jihyo is just giggling.

“This is on me Jeong,” Jihyo winks.

Jeongyeon looks around.

They ended up in a hotel like first-class flight.

Everything looks extravagant!

Like they have their own room inside the plane.

They can convert their seats to actual beds.

They have a beer fountain inside the room.

Then they have a big TV too.

Jeongyeon looks so surprised.

She has never flown in first class before.

“Again, Jihyo this is too much, you don’t need all this to get to Korea,” There is resistance in Jeongyeon’s voice.

Jihyo looks amused.

She loves this, the fact that Jeongyeon is not a bit captivated of all the things she can offer.

Of all the branded things that Jihyo wears.

Of all the expensive cars Jihyo drove to meet her.

Of all the riches that Jihyo has.

Jeongyeon does not care about it.

She even scolds Jihyo that she is spending too much sometimes.

Just like now.

“Even though you have tons of savings, I really don’t see the first class is necessary,” Jeongyeon keeps on nagging.

Jihyo is just looking.

Still in amusement.

“You really are not gonna say anything about this? You should not be smiling, you know?” Jeongyeon sounds exasperated.

“I pull out some strings to get a great deal out of it, I did not spend too much,” Jihyo reasons out.

Jeongyeon looks at her suspiciously.

“One of my friends, is somewhat an employee of this airline,” Jihyo mischievously smile.

“An employee, wow, who is she the daughter of the owner of the airline, that is why she can hook us up with this deal?” Jeongyeon sarcastically comments.

Jihyo smiles guiltily.

Jeongyeon just looks at her girlfriend.

Then the smile on her face is not disappearing.

“You’re joking, right?” clarifies Jeongyeon.

Jihyo keeps the smile as it is.

“You are friends with the daughter of the owner of this airline!”

Jeongyeon says loudly.

“We are kind of friends,” Jihyo answered reluctantly.

Of course, Sana is her friend. Her best friend to say the least.

Jeongyeon narrows her eyes for a minute.

She looks at Jihyo with sympathy and love.

She takes a deep breath, then she holds on Jihyo’s hand.

“You know, I love you no matter, what right?”

It supposed to be sweet if Jihyo knows Jeongyeon less.

“Yah! Yoo Jeongyeon!”

She smacks Jeongyeon hard.

Jihyo knows that Jeongyeon is implying something.

She should be insulted but above all Jeongyeon is joking.

“WE’RE FRIENDS! IT’S NOT WHATEVER YOU ARE THINKING,”

Jeongyeon looks hurt Jihyo’s voice can be too loud sometimes.

Actually no, all the time.

Then she realizes something that her sister told her.

“RICH PEOPLE ARE FRIENDS WITH JUST THEIR OWN KIND,”

Jeongyeon looks around.

She feels like she is being swallowed in a warp.

A warp where everything is gold.

Everything is unreachable.

She tries to process it.

She has an idea that Jihyo is rich, well she lives in the upper East side. That alone is a statement.

After a moment the captain announced take off.

Yes, they were just waiting for Jeongyeon’s arrival to take off.

If it was not Jihyo’s order they would have left earlier.

Well, what can they do it is a VVVIP guest.

Jeongyeon was quiet the whole time.

It is amusing, to say the least, but her thoughts are everywhere.

She clenches her jaw.

Jihyo acts ignorant.

But Jeongyeon’s eyes are piercing through her.

She knows her girlfriend is not gonna stop, yes, never.

“Fine, since I am bringing you in South Korea to meet my family might as well tell you that our family has a business and we are kind of friends with a couple of business owners too,” Jihyo explains.

She is breaking everything to Jeongyeon as gentle as possible.

Why?

Yoo Jeongyeon hates extravagant things. She loathes all of it.

She is a simple girl with a good amount of humor and a good amount of lewdness.

That is why Jihyo liked her a lot.

They met in the University, Jeongyeon was a scholar at Columbia University taking up Architecture, while Jihyo? She is taking up her MBA when they met.

And with that, they just hit it off because they both speak Korean.

The other thing is that Jeongyeon grew up in the US. She has zero to none knowledge about who Jihyo is.

What Jihyo’s status in the Korean Society is.

She is one of those people who Jihyo can be her TRUE self without considering how it will affect their stock prices.

Their business.

Because Jeongyeon was that exemption.

They also have this common ground.

They hated the extravagant, multibillion world.

Yes, Jihyo hated the world that she is living in.

Jeongyeon? She hated the stigma that the riches bring to the world.

“My family is kind of involvement in real states,”

Jeongyeon looks serious for a moment.

“Yah, Yoo Jeongyeon, say something,” Jihyo looks worried.

This is what she is afraid of, telling these things to Jeongyeon. She is afraid that her girlfriend might hate her too.

Might look at her as those figures on TV who are spending their money in nothing but what the society expects them to do.

Jeongyeon looks down.

She clenches her jaw.

“It’s not mine, kay? I mean it is my family’s,”

Jihyo defends herself.

This serious Jeongyeon scares her.

“.. So,”

Jeongyeon sternly comments.

Jihyo holds on Jeongyeon’s hand.

Good thing the plane is already on the clouds or Jeongyeon could have walked out.

“Everything was a lie?”

“It was not a lie, I mean I’d rather call it covering up the truth for my selfish desire,” There are tears in Jihyo’s eyes already.

Jeongyeon keeps mum.

“Jeong,” Jihyo shakes her.

“It was just a business, I mean not like I lied about who I am, we just did not talk about my family, and it’s not like it’s mine,” Jihyo keep on reasoning out.

Jeongyeon is still ignoring her.

“Jeong, please say something,”

Jeongyeon does not even look at her.

“Did you even love me?” There is melancholy from Jeongyeon’s voice.

“OF COURSE, I love you! I may not have told you about my family BUT that thing is REAL, I LOVE YOU, Yoo Jeongyeon, I do,”

Jihyo proclaims in an instant.

She did not realize that it will be this much.

That Jeongyeon will take it this way.

Jeongyeon looks like she is about to cry.

She looks up her hand covering her face.

She is sniffing.

This is too dramatic.

Jihyo is calling her name.

She is trying to say sweet nothings to her girlfriend.

“Jeong, I don’t want to break up because of this, please,”

She keeps on pushing her softly.

“I am not sure, Jihyo,”

“Come on Jeong,”

“I mean, will you allow me to...”

“Of course, Anything… I will allow you to do anything, just don’t break up with me,”

“Get that lego set, and get more melon bread, I am so confused if I should stay in relationship with you really,”

Jeongyeon opens one of her eyes. She is anticipating on how Jihyo would react.

“OF COU… YAH, YOO JEONGYEON!”

Jihyo bursts out in shock realizing what Jeongyeon just said.

All the desperation she showed it was for Jeongyeon’s entertainment.

Because just now, Jeongyeon bursts out in glee.

She laughs so hard.

And because of that, she receives the wrath of her girlfriend. Yes, Jihyo just starts smacking her shoulder.

“You were so desperate,”

Jeongyeon comments in between her laughs.

She lets Jihyo smack her to death like that.

“Do you think I’m that juvenile? I’m insulted, Park Jihyo,”

Jeongyeon reasons out to defend herself from Jihyo’s wrath.

“I hate you!” Jihyo is acting like a baby.

But, her tantrums are real.

She was nearly breaking down just to save her relationship with Yoo Jeongyeon.

“YAH! Why do you hate me? You are the one, who was hiding something from me!” Jeongyeon playfully banters.

“I hate you!” Jihyo smacks Jeongyeon’s shoulder.

She keeps on saying that she hates Jeongyeon and just keeps on smacking her.

Park Jihyo is a real spoiled brat even though she would deny it ALL THE TIME.

“YAH,”

Jeongyeon uses her hands to hold on Jihyo’s wrists.

So that her girlfriend would stop hitting her.

Then Jihyo starts crying.

She is crying like a child.

And that was the time Jeongyeon knew she was too much.

“Stop crying, pretty please, I was just messing with you,” She starts speaking sweetly to Jihyo.

Her sweet voice that could make Jihyo’s heart race.

Jihyo sobs.

“Why are you messing with me? Do you know how scared I was?”

“What is my baby scared of?”

“That you’ll break up with me, that you’ll leave me!” Jihyo bursts in another cry to answer Jeongyeons query.

Jeongyeon smiles.

She envelops Jihyo in a warm embrace.

“Don’t be silly, I won’t leave you at all because you’re rich. I might marry you soon as we land in South Korea, to be entitled too,” Jeongyeon jokes.

She flinches.

She feels Jihyo’s light punches on her chest.

Jeongyeon giggles.

She finds this cry baby too adorable to handle.

Everything that Jihyo does is just too adorable for Yoo Jeongyeon.

Jeongyeon is shushing her spoiled brat girlfriend.

She is caressing her hair.

“Stop crying, will you?” She whispers sweetly.

Jihyo is sobbing lightly inside her arms.

“For what is worth, I will never leave you, not even if your parents talk to me and offer me tons of money, like the one you see in the TV,” Jeongyeon ended up sounding ridiculous.

But she is sure Jihyo understand what she means.

“I love you, not the perks of being a rich man’s daughter, but you…”

Jeongyeon kisses Jihyo’s forehead.

And because of that Jihyo knows she is loved.

She is the luckiest person in the whole Universe.

The parted.

Jeongyeon wipes the tears from Jihyo’s eyes.

They look at each other so passionately.

“Aish, Park Jihyo, what did I do to deserve someone like you? You make my dreams come true,” Jeongyeon blurts out looking intimately to Jihyo.

Jihyo hits Jeon

Chapter 1: The pairings are good as is. Tzuyu should have to work to get Momo, though, a lot of humbling and an elephant dose of politeness towards others should make the relationship more believable.

Usually overfed characters, like Tzuyu seems to be right away, require getting off their high horses with force to be well accepted by the reader. It would be entertaining if Momo really is interested in someone else, maybe already have a girlfriend when Tzuyu gets interested. Cliche, but works with the scenario of k-dramas.

2Na are already on the same level, but they are easier to relate to, though it's expected for them to be out of touch with the real world sometimes.

And JeongHyo are going to have trouble, it's clear, but they seem to work quite well.
