“How in the world did you two convince your parents into letting us travel abroad, and exactly why am I included without any prior knowledge?!”
Riding in a limousine that’s already pulling up to their destination, it’s safe to say that Myoui Mina’s asking her question a bit too late.
Sana’s already unbuckling her seatbelt, with every fibre within her body ready to spring herself out of the vehicle as soon as it comes to a full stop.
Momo, who’s been zoning out throughout the entire ride, miraculously picks up the flustered girl’s question and speaks up for the first time of the day.
“There’s no point in stressing about the details when you’re already here with us, Minari.” she yawns lazily before taking a peek outside of the tinted windows, “Besides, it’s not like we kidnapped you or anything. You willingly walked into the jet with us earlier, and same goes for this car.”
“I was awoken by my maids at ungodly hours of the night and got ushered around whilst remaining half asleep, Momo-sama.” Mina glares, “And even if you didn’t abduct me by force, it doesn’t change the fact that I was brought here without my consent. Please, I don’t even know where we are!”
“Aww cheer up a bit, Mi-tang~” Sana chimes in right as the engine is turned off, making her seize hold of her purse with excitement. “We’ve finally escaped from our boring lifestyles and we’re getting this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to wear these cute uniforms for a year! Isn’t that exciting?”
“No, because just like I’ve said a second ago, I didn’t agree to any of thi-”
Unfortunately, Mina’s tiny squeak of a voice gets cut off by the slam of the car door, her two restless friends already out and wandering about.
They were supposed to (like the Myoui clan’s daughter) wait for their butlers to open the door for them and assist them out like proper princesses.
Dumb and Dumber, however, are far too thrilled about their current situation to give a flippin’ damn (as expected).
The two are busy being mesmerised by, well, everything they lay their glistening eyes on, really.
From the rusty and currently-being-opened school gate to the incredibly plain-looking buildings nearby, they’ve never anything like them before.
The royal princesses’ are already experiencing so many new ‘firsts’, and heck, all they’re doing right now is standing outside of a freakin’ school zone.
It’s not just any school, either.
It’s a normal-, unappealing- high school.
A school for ordinary-leveled students in the land of South Korea.
The princesses have actually escaped from their so-called ‘hell’.
This seemingly-absurd situation of theirs started with Minatozaki Sana’s puppy eyes- as usual.
While she was being disturbed by insomnia one night, she suddenly came up with this (self-proclaimed) genius plan.
The idea seemed so perfect, she pestered her partner-in-crime about it as soon as the girl dropped by her mansion the very next day.
Being the (slightly) more reasonable one out of the two, shockingly, Momo actually turned down Sana’s idea at first.
She found it far too daring and doubted their success rate, not wanting to risk her wellbeing for nothing.
Sana’s puppy eyes, however, remains superior and won her over eventually.
The day after the creation and the adjustment of their master plan, the uncontrollable princesses took action.
They informed their parents about how much they wanted to ‘experience the life of a commoner in order to strengthen their empathy and become more down-to-Earth, blah blah blah…’ which is nothing but bullsh*t Sana managed to spout out for the sake of winning her parents over.
Luckily for the Minatozaki princess, her parents have the tendency to pamper their only child endlessly.
They practically caved in once Sana used the ‘you’ve home-schooled me my entire life’ card.
Literally, she gained their permission within 5 short minutes.
Momo, on the other hand, had to go through a lot more convincing.
Although she’s the neglected middle child who has zero responsibilities, her parents knew of the fact that their second daughter is a big- airhead.
Her ‘no thoughts head empty’ attitude often results in clumsy accidents, and her easily-persuaded personality can only make things worse for herself.
It was only after 2 whole hours of nonstop talking (which included a million of ‘buts’ and ‘what ifs’), the Hirais eventually gave up on the debate and allowed for Momo to join Sana on her random ‘self-improvement’ journey… but under one specific condition:
That is, if only the Myoui clan’s daughter tags along with them, too.
Myoui Mina is well-known for her maturity and intelligence, gaining her the respect and acknowledgement of other clans- including the Hirais.
In spite of being the youngest out of the three princesses, she’s the only one who has enough self-restraint to not get herself killed through foolish acts (Insert Momo’s mistake of taunting an ostrich + Sana’s recent cannonball incident Here) and thus she’s qualified as the perfect damage control.
In all honesty, Mina really didn’t know she was travelling abroad with her friends until they were already flying across the East Sea.
Sana naturally assumed that she was informed prior to their departure (because she had to know in order to show up on the private jet with them, right?), but in reality, Momo straight up forgot to tell her, told her butler instead, and Mina’s left clueless to why she’s overseas even till now.
Nevertheless, here the Japanese princesses are, walking further towards the unfamiliar building with two rows of bodyguards surrounding their sides.
Mina’s secretly regretting her choice of befriending the two troublemakers at the young age of 12, but she’s doing a great job at hiding it.
Luckily, she’s soon distracted from her displeasure as she spots a man waving at them from afar.
He seems extremely happy to see them, regardless of all the intimidating men tagging along.
“Welcome, princesses of Japan!” the man greets joyfully once they’re in an appropriate proximity, “It’s an absolute honour and privilege to have you ladies here. I am the chairman of this school, and I shall be personally assisting you through all the necessary procedures in order to get you enrolled and ready to go by the end of today. We will strive to do whatever that’s within our power to make sure your stay is an enjoyable one
