Far Fetched Dreams?

[Un]saveable [HIATUS]

Jin Akanishi sat in the back of the class leaning back in his chair and humming under his breath looking out the window. He really couldn't care less about what their sensei was saying. Math wasn't his subject... correction school as a whole wasn't his thing at all. Honestly he was surprised he had even gotten into high school to begin with. The only reason he had actually tried was because of Yamapi and Maki the 3 had promised to stay together forever and he was determined not to break that up.

He watched his two best friends in front of him Maki was writing down notes and paying close attention as usual and Yamapi was staring at Maki like a fool. He saw Maki look back a few times at Yamapi and he saw the two exchange smiles, and he felt a pang of jealousy. Not because he liked Maki and was jealous of the attention she gave him, no that wasn't it. Even if he had liked her a few years ago as soon as Yamapi had told him he liked her he decided to give up his crush he couldn't compete with his best friend besides it was so obvious that Maki liked him back. He still didn't understand how Yamapi couldn't see it. I guess the saying love is blind was true for Pi.

Anyways he wasn't jealous that Maki liked Yamapi back. It was the fact that he felt invisible at times. Like right now for instance they shared secret glances with each other but not once did they turn around to look at him. Sometimes he wondered what would happen if they started dating would they forget about him all together? He shook his head sighing trying to make the childish thoughts leave his head. 'Come on Akanishi give it up' he thought scolding himself. 'How old are you 7?' he was still being depressed at the thoughts in his head when he felt his pocket vibrate. He glanced up quickly. Sensei had her back to them she was writing on the board he quickly reached into his pocket and grabbed his phone.

---------------- 2 missed alerts ----------------

Jin was surprised, he hadn't felt his phone the first time. He checked again quickly to make sure the Sensei was still distracted and then he hunched over to check the messages. The first one was from Yamapi.

Jin whats wrong?? <---TomoKun--->

Surprised he clicked over to the next one and it was from Maki.

Baka are you ok? :(

Jin quickly glanced up and saw both his friends watching him out of the corner of their eye's and he couldn't help but smile. He was being stupid of course they would never forget about him. He glanced down again so he could reply when a shadow fell over him Jin looked up to see sensei standing over him a frown on her face with her hand out.

“Cell phone Akanishi.”

Jin glared at her and slowly handed it over.

“Don't give me that look you know the rule's, come see me after class.”

Jin couldn't help but grin as the class broke out in dog howls and whistled.

There was even a couple “way to go Jin, scoring with the teacher!” comments. The teacher just glared at them all. Jin just smirked he enjoyed this kind of attention.

“Any more comments like that and all of you are going to the office, can we have no more interruptions and focus on the lesson please?” everyone went silent and she smiled.

“Wonderful, now Jin since you can text in my class I guess you know all this already, so come up here and show everyone how solve this equation.”

Jin sighed “ my life.” he mumbled quietly under his breath.

======================================================================================

The next hour of class was hell for Jin, it seemed the sensei wanted to get even with him for disrupting her class she called on him every chance she got, so by the time class had ended he had completely forgotten about his cell phone and really just wanted to get away from her. He was halfway out the door and almost free when her voice stopped him.

“Jin! I said I wanted to see you after class!” Jin sighed and Yamapi gave him a sympathetic look.

“Maki and I will wait.” he said as he grabbed Jins bag from him and slung it over his own shoulder. “Just don't take to long. You know how impatient Maki gets.”

Maki looked up from the book she was reading when she heard her name and she glared at Yamapi lightly hitting him in the arm with her book. “Hey! What are you talking about Pi your the one that's going to start complaining. Don't blame me!”

Jin and Yamapi both laughed they both knew it was true. Maki had to much patience sometimes, it got annoying. Yamapi on the other hand got annoyed really easily. It was another reason they where perfect for each other they balanced each other out perfectly.

“Well.” Jin started sighing. “Time to go face my death.”

Maki and Yamapi waved “Ganbette!” they called as he turned to go back into the classroom. Closing the door behind him.

He approached his sensei's desk and waited for her to notice him. She was grading something and didn't even look up as she spoke to him. She pointed to his cell phone that was sitting on top of her desk.

“I'm keeping that until graduation”

Jin gaped at her open mouthed. “Graduation is over 2 month's away! You can't do that!”

Finally she looked at him, eyebrow's raised. “ It's for your own good. If you want to graduate you need to start focusing on your school work. Also I talked with your homeroom teacher. Apparently you still haven't handed in the paper with your university choices on it yet. You need to start taking these things serious. The time for playing is over.”

Jin rolled his eye's. He had gotten this lecture from pretty much all his teachers already, and he gave the same response he always did. “ I haven't handed in that paper because I am not going to University I've explained this so many times already!”

The teacher tsked at him and crossed her arms. “I admire your dreams, I really do but lets face reality here! Yes you are talented but the chances of you becoming famous are slim! You need to get a real job and to do that you need proper schooling! And your choices aren't just effecting you! Yamaa-kun has decided to join you in your crazy dream as well it seems. So you are also effecting your friends future as well.”

Jin was getting ready to respond the way he normally did. But her last statement made him stop was he really messing up Yamapi's life to? Was his whole dream to far fetched to ever reach it?

The sensei smiled when she saw his expression. “well it looks like I have finally gotten through to you. I think it's time you really think about your future, You can go now.” She pointed towards the door. And Jin left silently without a word. Suddenly he had a lot to think about.
