Na Mi's POV

"Na Mi..."

"Na Mi-ah..."

I open my eyes slowly and realize who's calling me.

"Taemin-ah! You wake up already?" I ask while combing my hair with my fingers. He tries to sit up but I quickly lie his body back down.

"Don't move too much" I order him. He nods weakly.

"Where... are we?" he asks.

"Hospital. Your mother is on her way here from Jinan. Did she tell you that she's having some jobs at Jinan?" I ask back.

"Yes she told me this morning. What time is it?" he asks again.

"Ehm... It's 8 pm" I reply after looking at my watch.

"What? You wait for me that long?" his eyes widened.

"Yes. What's wrong? By the way, I'm... I'm sorry about Kwangmin" I look down.

"Ah, it's okay. It's me who start the fight, anyway" he answers. I look up.

"You?" I ask.

"Eh, yes. I'm sorry. I just talk a little with him and he challenged me then I couldn't control myself" he is the one who looks down now.

"It's his fault too. Who ask him to challenge you? And he doesn't injured like you" I smile to him.

"T... Thanks. And, please send my sorry to him" he pleads.

"Sure" I smile again.

 

Silence.

 

The comfortable one.

 

*knock knock*

"Yah Na Mi! Eun Hee is really mad at you!" Youngmin barges in, followed by Mi Na and... Kwangmin.

"Why?" I ask him.

"Because you didn't come to work, Eun Hee has to work late today!" Mi Na says.

"Aigoo. She'll kill me for that" I answer.

"For sure" Youngmin laughs.

Then I realize there's an uncomfortable silence between Taemin and Kwangmin.

"Ehm... Mi Na and Youngmin, would you guys buy some food? I'm craving for tteokbokki! Buy it for me!" I give Youngmin some money and push him and Mi Na outside then I close the door.

 

Okay. Relax. I can solve their problems.

 

"So... I'm sorry" Kwangmin starts a conversation.

"Nevermind" Taemin tries to smile but it fails.

 

Another silence.

 

"Ehm, guys. By the way, why did you fight?" I ask. Kwangmin chokes on his own spit.

"Errr, err, that's not important" Taemin stutters.

"Ah, yeah. It's not--- not important" Kwangmin replies.

I stare at them curiously.

"Then if it's not important, why don't you tell me?" I ask.

"Ehm... We fight over... over a... TEACHER! Yeah, a teacher! We fall in love with a teacher!" Kwangmin yelps. Taemin widens his eyes then Kwangmin elbows him, making he smile and nods furiously.

"Oh god. A teacher? How could you-- Ah, forget it. By the way, how's the bookstore today, Kwangmin?" I ask Kwangmin.

"It's good. And... Youngmin never stopped talk about that kiss between you and him" Kwangmin points at Taemin. I can catch a jealous tone from his voice.

"Me? Her? Kiss? What happened?"  Taemin seems confused and, blushing. Seeing him blushing make me blush too.

"Uh... You were running out of breath just now, so I gave you mouth-to-mouth help breathing..." I  answer nervously.

"Thanks... You saved my life" Taemin smiles sweetly.

"Hello~! I still exist" Kwangmin says, annoyed.

 

*BRAK*

 

"We're back! I've got tteokbokki for you, Na Mi!" Youngmin enters the room happily.

"Just for her? What about me?" Kwangmin asks, getting more annoyed.

"Aish... We forget about you" Mi Na says teasingly. Kwangmin pouts.

"Aigoo, of course we bring for you too! And Taemin too!" Mi Na smiles.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I will really cherish this moment. We laugh together, this is the best moment in my life.

 

 

1 week later...

 

Mi Na's POV

"Tiger?" I ask as I see that sitting figure. "It's you!" I run to my seat and immediately hug him.

"Yah, I don't like a hug from you" he releases himself from me.

"Sorry... Not seeing you for 1 week makes me feel soulless cause I have nobody to talk to" I answer.

"Soulless? Is that even a word?" he asks.

"By the way, I'm curious about your nickname. What's with Taemin? Why do they have to call you Tiger?" I ask back, ignoring his question.

"It's just a nickname. Nothing to worry" he says.

"Oh. Okayy" I ask while opening my bag.

 

Oh god.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

No.

"I forgot to bring my history book..." I mumble.

"Aish. Let's just share my book" Taemin moves his book closer to me. I smile and start staring at that book. There are some strange letters there.

Okayy, this is weird.

Without his knowing, I copy that letters to my notebook.

Sorry for keeping you all waiting :( and I just give this short update :( SORRY!

I'm watching a drama called Salamander Guru and The Gang now... Highly recommended for comedy lovers! And, SHINee's Minho is the main actor there! YEAHH HE'S MY ULTIMATE BIAS~

I've watch 5 episodes and I love them VERY MUCH!

It seems like this drama is a heaven of singers...

There are Myungsoo (Infinite), Taemin and Key (SHINee), Taeyeon (SNSD), Krystal (f(x)), Leeteuk (Super Junior) as cameos, and that's just for 5 episodes! Wooohoo, can't wait to watch the 6th! IU IS A CAMEO THERE! YEEHEE

So... see you next chapter!

Ermm actually I'm still on chapter 2 and I've realize that YoungMin saying "hyung" to KwangMin which is wired because YoungMin is older... By 6 mins. ^^,

Knowing that Nami would choose Kwangmin over him, Taemin must've thought that there's no hope for him since she's the reason why he decided to cease gang activities. So, returning to his old lifestyle is the path he decided to choose in order to move on by keeping himself busy. Kwangmin really has good timing to show up at the scene like that. He truly loves Nami to be willing to put his life on the line for her. It's good that he'd followed her when he did to keep an eye on her knowing the danger she's putting herself into. At least she and Taemin get to remain friends in the end. That's better than having no connection with her at all. Giving it some thought has helped her to come to terms with her true feelings. What's important is that she's happy with her choice at the end: Kwangmin.

If Mina and Youngmin were to get romantically involved in the future, they'd make a cute couple. From the way that it ended up between them, they're hitting it off as good friends. It's nice to see that Mina is getting along well with him by putting the grudge they had towards each other after their encounter on the streets behind them. At this point, Youngmin seems to have already let got of Nami for Kwangmin to be happy with her. He's one caring, understanding, loving brother.

Gangster refers to a person who gets involved in dangerous activities that are a part of their lifestyle on the streets. Since you're referring to a group of people, "gang" is the proper term to use.

I ever kissed these 2 guys.

The ending is okay. If you'd thought of something more that you could add to expand on it, it could turn out better with some details to give the readers a good impression at the end. It doesn't seem dramatically romantic if that's what you were trying to portray. There seems to be more dialogue than details. Reading novels can give you ideas on pulling off great endings.

Taemin must be reeling from the aftereffects of being accidentaly knocked out by Kwangmin to be feeling hostile towards him. It seemed that they were fighting over Nami like two stags in competition to win a doe as his mate. At least they resolved it in the hospital with Nami in the room. xD Youngmin's still continuing with the game of making Kwangmin jealous to prove that his brother has feelings for Nami. That's obviously a secret message meant for Taemin to unscramble. "Tiger" must be his gangster name. Things must not be going well out on the streets for them to want Taemin to return to his former lifestyle.

Ch. 22 mistake:

I've thought of actually checking out "Salamander Guru" some time. The only whole episode that I'd watched is the one with Taemin and Key as cameos. Because of school, I didn't have much time for that. Taemin does look convincing in drag. Despite the drama, there is some good humor in it. It is SHINee Minho's first major acting project in a drama. Acting is one of his passions. It'd be great to see him at work doing what he loves.
