“I like you and it might be unfair to say this at such time… but…”

“Chaeng..”

 

The door is opening and you’re entering

You’re so pretty, so pretty

Slowly, slowly, you’re walking to me

 

“Chaeng!” I heard my name as I turned and saw the most beautiful girl in the world walking towards me… in a wedding dress.

“Mina.” I said smiling

“Thanks for coming. I know we’ve haven’t been talking much, but I hope we can make up soon.” She said as I nod

“Of course. I can’t leave my best friend alone at a wedding. Well, you have other friends here with you, but I wouldn’t miss my best friend’s wedding.” I said smiling

 

Best friends...

 

“Mina. There you are.” a manly voice said as he came towards us

“Hi honey.” Mina said

“Oh, Hey Chaeng. Did see you there.” He said as I shook my head

“Still got those jokes in you giant?” I asked as she chuckled

“Yupp, but these jokes are only for you.” He said as I sigh.

“Stop messing with her

“I’ll leave you guys be. I guessing there are other people who wants to talk to you two.” I said as they nod

“I’ll see you later Chaeng.” Mina said as I nod

“Later buddy.” He said as he gave a short waved gesture at me

 

I scoffed as I smiled

“I’ll always be your best friend.”

“Chaeng. This is BamBam. My boyfriend. BamBam, this is my friend, Chaeng.” Mina said as I stood.

“Chaeyoung, Son Chaeyoung. But my friends call me Chaeng.” I said as I reach out my hand to him

“Nice to meet you Chaeyoung. Mina has been telling me how great you are to her.”

“I bet she did. We’ve been friends since high school up until now.”

“That's what I heard.” He said

“I hope you can take care of her better than I do.”

“Oh no.. You took care of her before I can ask her out. I should be thankful.”

“You should. Cause if you hurt her, I’ll hunt you down and kill you myself.” I said as he looked at me

“What?” He asked

“Chaeng!” Mina said as I laughed it out.

“I was kidding. I wouldn't do that.” I said as they laugh as well.

“Whew.. I thought you were being serious right there.” He said

“Haha. I'm not that kind of person.”

Was picking up my coffee order at the usual cafe shop that I always go to.

 

“Chaeng.” I heard my name as I looked and saw BamBam.

“Hey. Whats up?” I asked

“You like Mina don't you?” He asked as I looked at me blankly

“W-What?” I asked

“I know you like her Chaeng, I’ve seen the look in your eyes when you two are together. There’s no need to hide it. I won't tell.” He said as I fidget my hands at the end of my sweater sleeves

“I-I… I'm not intending to steal her. She has you already and I trust you that you will take care of her.” I said as he looks at me

 

Trust…

 

“Really? Cause I know how it feels Chaeng. It hurts. I’ve been in your spot. There's no need to lie.” He said as I felt my eyes getting blurry

“What the-” I scoffed as I wipe my eyes

“Chaeng..”

“Sure… it hurts. .. It hurts like hell. But if it's for her happiness, I'm willing to give it to her. Even if it means to leave her side.” I sniffle

“Are you going to tell her how you feel someday?” He asked as I look away

“No. She don't need to know my feelings towards her. I don't want her to get mix feelings between us because of me.”

“Chaeng..”

“Sorry, but I'm pretty busy today. If we’re done talking, I’ll be taking my leave.” I said as I walked towards the door

“She’ll know.” He said as I stopped at the door and turned to look at him

“Someday, she’ll see how you really feeling about her.” He said

“She won't.” I said as I opened the door and walked out of the cafe shop.

“I heard you talked to BamBam a couple of days ago.” Mina said as I look at her

“It's nothing special.. We were just talking.” I said as we were sitting in the living room of our apartment.

“It sounded like it was though.” She said switching channels

“It's not.” I said looking at my phone

“Sure… it hurts. .. It hurts like hell. But if it's for her happiness, I'm willing to give it to her. Even if it means to leave her side.”

 

I look at her as she was holding her phone.

 

“What the-”

“You have feelings for me Chaeng?” She asked as I sat up and sigh out of frustrations

“Chaeng? Tell me the truth.”

“YES! I do like you! Are you happy?” I shouted as I look at her

“How long was it?” She asked as I sigh

“It doesn’t matter.” I said as I stood up and walk away from this situation, but Mina grab my hand

“It does matter to me… How long?” She asked again

“Since.. Junior year in high school.” I said as I didn't face her

 

I heard her stood up and felt her back hug me as she bury her face in my back neck.

 

“I'm sorry Chaeng. I'm sorry I didn't notice it.” She sobs as I turned around and hugs her

“It doesn't matter anymore.. You have BamBam now. We’re just best friends.”

“We’re more than friends.” Mina said as she looks at me with her tears

 

It's hurting me…

 

“Our love is different for each other. Your love is to love me as a best friend who’s been there for you to support you. While my love is real love. Love that I wanted to give to you. More than anything else. But it's too late for that.”

“It's not too late. We can still be together.” Mina said as I shook my head and gently cup her face

“I don't want you to force yourself to like me. It's not the same.” I said as I kiss her forehead.

“Chaeng.” She said as she leaned in and kiss my lips

“Mnn.” I moan as she wrap her arms around my neck, pulling me closer.

 

She broke out the kiss as my eyes were slightly closed as I saw her eat something.

 

“Haa.  Mnn.” Mina moans as she stick out her tongue into my mouth as I shook at her actions

“W-Wait.” I muttered as I gently pull her away from me

“C-Chaeng…” Mina said as her eye were in love lust while I knew this

 

This situation.. We shouldn’t..

 

“We shouldn’t do this. You are dating BamBam. You love him, not me.” I said as she tried to come closer to me.

“Chaeng…” She said as she backed up and pulled out her shirt, showing her bra.

“I know you want this.” She said as she took one of her bra strap down to her side arm.

“I-I do.. B-but.. Y-you.. You have BamBam. Please.. Put back on your shirt.” I said looking away.

 

She pushed me down to the couch as she crawl on top of me.

 

“Mina.. Please.. Don't do this.”

“I can't.. My body feels hot.” She said as I look at her.

“D-Did… you.. Drink ..”

“Maybe…”

“Oh my god. Mina.. Where did you get it from?” I asked as she looks at me

“From me.” I heard a voice said as I looked at the door and saw BamBam.

“What the did you give her?”

“Love pill.”

“You can't force her into something she doesn't want to do!” I said as I gently pushing her away from kissing me.

“Chaeng..” Mina said in a lovely voice

“She heard everything Chaeng. I recorded everything we talked about that day.” He said

“You ing ! How could you!?”

“I told you that she’ll know someday.”

“She didn't have to hear it from you!”

“Well, is she gonna hear it from you!? NO! Because you’re a chicken and a coward!” He shouted as I scoffed

“Things wouldn’t be like this if you didn't say a ing thing!” I shouted

“I’ll let you have some fun with her before you leave her because of her ‘happiness.’” BamBam said as he walked towards the door

“BamBam? BamBam! Get back in here! OMG!” I shouted as I heard the door closed

“No need to deny this.. Just let Mina unnie do everything.”

I stood next the Bambam as I was the “best man” with Bambam’s friends. We got along fine as we were just standing there waiting. The tradition song suddenly started playing. The door opens as Mina and her dad came through the door and started walked towards us. I was shook as I saw her in wedding dress. It was the most beautiful scene I ever saw and it's the last thing I’ll ever see. They reach to the end as they were standing in together in front of the priest.
