Jinyoung:

So here's the deal. The guys and I (except J. Seph and Matthew) were in the hospital room when I got a phone call. The number was 'Unknown' and I was scared to pick it up. When I answered the call, we found out that it was from the company JYP. They were apparently looking for a 7 membered boy group.  We didn't know what to say so we said thank you and that we'll keep in touch.

"Guys what do we do?" I ask

"I don't know it's a good opportunity but what about Matthew and them?" Mark says

"Yea what about GotKARD?" Youngjae asks

"I know. I'm so confused myself. But what if our co-ed  group doesn't work out? I mean you saw how co-ed school worked out right?" Jackson points out

"Ya they disbanded like just months after. Now that I think about it I don't think they properly even debuted." BamBam says

"You do have a point. I mean, we all know how the previous co-ed groups ended up and we don't want to suffer the same fate" JB agrees

"So what should we do? Should we tell the other 4 about this?" Yugyeom asks

"I don't think we should. At least not yet. I mean this is JYP who called us, who knows if we'll get an opportunity like this ever again. We should at least consider it before saying no" Mark says

"Maybe we could call the company and ask if they're willing to have a co-ed group instead?" BamBam suggests

"What don't be silly, what if they get offended or something and straight up reject us. Then who will give us a chance?" I scold

"I kinda agree with BamBam, what could go wrong in asking? I mean if they are the ones who called us, they must see some talent in us and won't let go of us easily" Youngjae says

"You're right, no harm in trying. Junior call that number right now" Jackson says

"Alright fine" I give in, but I still wasn't thrilled with the idea of calling

I dial that number and put it on speaker

"JYP Entertainment, can I help you?" The attendant asks

"Hello, this is Park Jinyoung. You called me some time back about that 7 member boy group" I say

"Oh right. Hold on, I'll connect you to our manager"

The line connects and we hear another voice

"Hello?"

"Yes, this is Park Jinyoung, I just had a question"

"Yes, go ahead" He says

"I was wondering if you'd be willing to take an additional 4 people; 2 guys and 2 girls" I ask nervously

There is a long moment of silence as we all wait for the manager to reply

"You're kidding right? First of all a group with 11 members would be a lot to handle, and on top of that you want to make it co-ed?! You've got to be joking" He says

I sigh and everyone's face fell at that answer

"Listen, a co-ed group will never succeed, if you aren't interested anymore, that's fine but there's no way we'll allow an 11 member co-ed group" He continued

As soon as I heard those words, i immediately became alert and so did the others

"No no no, we're interested. It was just a mere question but it's fine if you won't allow it." JB quickly says

"Oh then that's wonderful. By the way we have a lot of trainees right now so we really need to fix an audition date as soon as possible. Would May 29th work for you? It's the only date available" He asks

May 29th? That's mine and Somin's 6 month anniversary....the boys look at me and think the same thing

"Hello? Would it work?" He asks

"Um is there no other date?" Yugyeom asks uneasily

"Well the next available date would be next year because auditions close May 30th" He says

"Umm"

"Is there a problem?" The manager asks

"Um no, we'll be there May 29th" I say, not knowing if I should be happy or upset

"Ok great, we'll see you then" He says and disconnects the call

We all sit down and no one says anything

"Guys do you think we did the right thing?" Mark asks, finally breaking the silence

"I don't know. All I know is i'm going to be breaking Somin's heart." I say sighing

"And once Jiwoo finds out, it'll break her heart too" BamBam says sadly

"Not just their heart, we all will be breaking the trust the 4 of them had in us" Youngjae says, looking at the floor

"Look at the irony, yesterday we were mad at J. Seph for hiding his family from us and thought he was betraying us and today we're the ones betraying them" Jackson says

"But then again, we all heard what the manager said. A co-ed group will never succeed and no one has ever accepted one" JB says

"Yea-" I started but got cut off when J. Seph, Matthew, Somin, and Jiwoo entered the hospital room

"There you are, we were looking for you guys" Jiwoo says and goes to sit next to BamBam while Somin comes next to me

She immediately notices my nervous face and asks,

"Oppa are you ok?" She puts her hand on my shoulder

"Yea I was just worried about J. Seph" I say

It wasn't exactly a lie because I was worried but now the guilt feeling is what's making me restless

"Don't worry, i'm fine" J. Seph assures me

"Where are your cousins?" Mark asks, changing the topic

"Oh they went home, they had some work. You know they were planning to leave this place but thank god we stopped them on time"

"Oh. Why were they going to leave?" Jackson asks

"They said they were 'meddling' in to my life and 'destroying' it. Like what? They were the ones who raised me so how can they say that? But then there's you guys who told me it's okay to bend the rules sometimes." He says

That broke my heart even more.

"Aight let's get going!" Youngjae says

"Wait wait I can't." J. Seph says

"Why?"

"I need to get discharged first."

"Let's go to the front desk then" Yugyeom suggests

"You are so stupid. They need to discharge me I can't discharge myself."

"Oh right! My bad, so how many days would you need to stay?"

"Until Saturday. Apparently my ribs are like not working or some shizzle like that"

"Alright BM, Somin and Jiwoo. You guys stay, we'll go and get dinner and stuff." JB says

We leave the room and get to the Uber.

"Guys I don't think I can do this." BamBam says

"Ya I don't think I can either. I can't see somin, Jiwoo, bm, And J,Seph without thinking of what we're going to do. And plus look at what situation J is in." JB Hyung says

"It's gonna be fine. We'll worry about how to break it to them after but right no we need  to worry about the audition" I say

"BamBam call Jiwoo and say something urgent came and we had to take a detour. Yugyeom work on taking all the feminin parts out of the dance and make it more fast and brisk moves. JB Hyung you and I will work out line distribution. Youngjae change up the girls parts so it's like the guys are doing it Mark Hyung work on adding more flips and Jackson after BamBam comes back work on the rap parts." JB Hyung says

And that's when our journey officially started.
