Inspired from a manga I’ve read before so some of the plot might be familiar.

Ever since he was a kid, Joshua Hong could see red threads weave on everyone’s ring finger. He would have fun trailing, connecting one thread from another. And at the time, he didn’t understand how important these threads are. Until he made the mistake of telling a married man that he is connected to his best friend.

“Joshua, Joshua, your friend is calling you outside.” Said by a classmate he didn’t even bother to remember the name of.

He rose up from his seat and walk towards the door where a nervous Vernon was fidgeting.

“Yo man!” greeted the male, his usual gummy smile missing.

“Hey, Vernon. What’s up?”

“I’m confessing today.” This shock Joshua, he never thought his friend would actually have the guts to do it.

“To Seungkwan?”

“What! No! Dude, come on, he’s just a friend!”
