“ No! Stop lying Taehyung ” Min Jee laughed at Taehyung, who was currently imitating her so called ‘ drunk face ’, which she had apparently made the night before.  In the words of Taehyung, she was trying to flirt with the bartender, who was flustered, unsure of what to do or say. Being the hero, the taller male saved the bartender, by almost dragging her out of the dimly lit bar.

“ It’s true! You were saying how you’re going to marry him, have some grand wedding as if you’re rich! ” From laughing so hard, remembering the night before, he couldn’t stop the tears from falling. No matter how hard he tried to contain his laughter, he just could not, when he seemed to have calmed down, he broke out in laughter once again.

The girl couldn’t help but laugh along as the two made their way to Jin’s Puns, walking on the sidewalk. Their coats were tightly hugged against their body, keeping the freezing wind at bay, or more like trying to keep it away from their body. But the air was so cold, their hands were as ice, even though they tried their best to keep them in their pockets.

Once the light on the traffic light turned green for them, they started walking over it. Taehyung happily skipping in front of her, dancing one of his weird dances. Flailing his arms around, he wore a funny face making Min Jee laugh at his antics.

But all the happiness that they exuded was soon over. Almost out of nowhere a blue car came speeding out of nowhere, heading straight towards Taehyung. Min Jee tried, she did, but she was too late, he had been hit, now bleeding on the ground.

Not breathing or reacting to anything, Min Jee tried to wake him up, calling his name. Yet no matter how hard she tried, it was all futile, he was gone and she was alone. She screamed, crying in pure agony, her heart breaking more and more as the seconds passed by. As she grasped the situation, the more her heart broke.

Min Jee sat up as she finally awoke, her breathing abnormal, the cheeks that were all dry, now once again wet by her tears. Her tears kept falling down her face, unable to look beside her to see if Taehyung was still there. Afraid of what she might do if he wasn’t. Petrified by the thought that it might be true, she couldn’t lose him as well.

Taehyung was her support pillar, keeping her situated without falling. Without him, she couldn’t, no, wouldn’t be able to live. At the thought of it being true, her heart ached, she grabbed onto the thin material of her shirt above her heart, hoping the pain would stop as she kept crying.

Unable to calm down, her breathing became more and more inconsistent. Her hands started shaking, they were clammy. She could hear the rapid beating of her heart in her ears as she tried to calm down.

“ Tae… ” She tried calling out, her voice weak and quiet. More tears came out

“ Tae! ” Managing to scream out his name, she continued to cry, wishing, hoping, praying he would show. As she continued to cry and call out his name, the door opened, before she could react, arms were incasing her in a warm hug.

“ I’m here, I’m here, breathe. “ A whisper it all it took for Min Jee to recognise that it was all a bad dream. But even knowing that she couldn’t help but cling onto Taehyung for dear life, more tears falling out of her eyes, whimpers were the only sound that she could make as she tried to call to him again.

It took her time to calm down, but thankfully Taehyung was there to help her, as always. Once her breathing had calmed down she kept asking if he was okay, if he was hurt anywhere. Looking for any bruises or scratches on his face and arms. He stopped her, telling her to look at him, trying to explain to her that he was okay and that it was just a bad dream.

“ ‘m sorry ” She muttered, her voice hoarse from all the cry- screaming that she had done. The brunette let out a chuckle, placing his big palm on top of her head and ruffling her already disheveled hair.

“ It’s okay, don’t worry. That’s why I’m here. ” He said with a warm smile on his slightly tanned  face. Even though they were in the middle of october, the tan he got from their trip during summer stuck to him.

“ Alright! Enough moping around, we’re going to destress you and have fun today okay?! ” His voice already sounded excited as he looked at her with a large grin on his face.

“ And I am not taking a no as an answer, capisce? ” Pointing at Min Jee making a funny face, finally making a small smile appear on her tear stained face. The girl nodded,  getting up from the couch, where they spent the last hour, as she was explaining to him the contents on her nightmare.

The same nightmare kept repeating itself, including more than just Taehyung, but her family and other friends, all dying. A week had gone by, yet the nightmare is staying. Every morning she wakes up with a tear stained face and each night she gets scared to fall asleep. Not wanting to see people closest to her die.

And with each day she gets less sleep. The dark circles under her eyes just keep getting so dark, that no matter how much make up she puts on her face, the darkness is still there.

“Ugh ” Min Jee groans as she keeps applying more and more concealer under her eyes. “At this point I might as well turn into a cake monster with the amount of makeup I have. ” She laughs, closing the concealer throwing it inside the black makeup bag.

Having enough of looking at her dark circles, she lets down her hair, slightly brushing it out with her fingers. By now she is done with everything that she had in mind, there’s only one thing left to do, leave and go to the place that breaks her heart. Every time she goes there, it reminds her of what she had done, what she has caused.

Once the small, green flower shop was in her vision, she quickened her steps, wanting to be inside instead of being outside in the freezing cold. It wasn’t even winter, yet the weather drastically changed from unbearable heat to freezing cold. ‘ ing global warming ’ Min Jee though, groaning under her breath, getting closer to the flower shop.

The ringing of the bell above her head announced her entrance in the shop. She walked to the front desk, waiting for the florist to come.

“ It’s that tim
