After school Sana calls her new Mom to tell her that she’s staying after school to try out for glee, her mom seems a little angry at first but then changes her tone and says to call her dad when she’s done. Sana sees Chaeyoung and she waves her into the classroom. “Oh it seems we have someone new this afternoon.” The teacher says smiling. “H-hi, my name is Sana.” She says quietly. “Who?” The teacher asks. “Her name is Sana and she would like to sing.” Chaeyoung chirps. Sana’s eyes widen, she thought that she would only be singing around Chae and the teacher but now that she thinks about it, that was kind of a stupid idea. “Well then, let’s here it.” The teacher smiled at her and Sana panicked, she only knew two songs, a child’s nursery rhyme that Jungkook and her used to sing when they were happy, and a song called ‘The Truth Untold’ it was a sad song that told of an old man with an grotesque appearance whose only joy was growing flowers. However, one day he noticed a girl in ragged clothing stealing his flowers and running away. Angry, the old man was determined to stay up all night guarding his flowers, but in the brief moments he shut his eyes, she plucked some flowers and ran away again. Eventually, the old man became curious at what she was doing with the flowers, and unbeknownst to her, followed her to the village where he realized that the ragged little girl was selling his flowers for a living. The ugly man wanted to teach the girl everything he knew about growing flowers, but he was too afraid of showing himself to her because he was afraid she would be scared of his appearance. So the man decided to make a flower never before seen in the world. He shut himself up for days and after countless attempts, wrought a beautiful flower which had never existed, and he filled his entire garden with these flowers. But the girl was nowhere to be found again. Days turned into weeks, but the girl never went back to his garden. The man’s concern grew and grew until he finally covered his face up and went to the village to find the girl. But the girl had already passed away. Sana used to sing it to Jungkook whenever he felt down or came back from another foster family. “Well... I only know two songs.” She explained. “And one of them is a nursery rhyme.” The teacher just looked at her. “That’s fine, just sing the other one.” Sana closed her eyes and thought of Jungkook, ‘it’s just him.’ She thought ‘your only audience is Jungkook, your singing for him and only him.’ Sana started out singing quietly but as she progressed she sang louder and though she couldn’t see it everyone was shocked.
