The dog cafe date didn't sit well with Sana... and Momo too apparently XD

Sana, Mina and Dahyun were the only three Twice members to be found at the dorm. The three sat together in the living room but each were up to their own business. Dahyun was reading a book which was a collection of poetries lend to her by Chaeyoung while the two Japanese members were on their phones. From the way her fingers were placed on her phone’s screen, strategically, it was deduced that Mina was playing one of the many mobile games she had downloaded onto her phone while Sana seemed to have been scrolling through a social media platform.

"Ha. Ha. Funny." Sana said as dryly as she could in a bitter tone.

Mina and Dahyun looked at Sana in concerned before looking at each other. If looks could kill and if iPhones could die, Sana’s phone would have been dead by now. The two younger members communicated with each other using their eyebrows and through series of pointed looks with each other. In the end, Mina gave Dahyun a look that told her to address Sana and the look was final causing Dahyun to scrunch up her face in mock annoyance before turning to Sana.

"Err, Sana unnie?" Dahyun asked, wearily, "You okay?"

"Oh I'm fine." Sana looked up and faked a smile before turning back to glare at her phone.

Mina scoffed under her breath while Dahyun kept looking at the oldest Japanese in doubt, "You don't sound fine.”

"Trust me, I'm fine." Sana said, almost growling.

Deciding not to push the older girl, Dahyun nodded and dropped the topic before sharing a concerned look with Mina. The three returned to sitting in silence. Although the sound of fast screen taps accompanied with a few little grunts here and there were heard before she eventually lost it.

“Arghshkskdjlk!!!” Sana groaned before setting her phone, face down next to her on the couch and hanging her head to stare at the ceiling.

The girl was taking calming breaths and the other two in the room shared a look again. It wasn’t particularly an odd sight to see Sana in so the two were left to decide if they wanted to dive into Sana’s dilemma or not. They decided not to… for now, at least.

‘I don’t think she’s fine.’ Dahyun mouthed to Mina who supressed a giggled and shook her head.

After a while, Sana seemed to have calmed down and Mina was going to take her turn to talk to the older girl. But before Mina could utter out a single word, the unlocking tone from the front door was heard followed by the sound of the door being swung opened.

"We're home!" Chaeyoung’s voice floated through the dorm.

Momo, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu were out since morning since the three of them had a schedule together while the other three who weren’t around were at the gym.

"Unnie-deul anneyong!" Chaeyoung greeted brightly as she passed the living room with Momo in a few steps behind her.

"Ohayo~" Momo sang as she appeared, greeting everyone.

Momo gave Mina quick hug before dashing off to her room to put her things away while Chaeyoung headed to the kitchen. After a few moments, Chaeyoung’s voice was heard from the kitchen as she called out to Dahyun.

"Dahyun unnie!” Chaeyoung called, causing Dahyun to hum her reply from where she sat in the living room. “I got you that yogurt drink you wanted!"

Just like that, Dahyun stood up excitedly and made her way to the kitchen. "Oh my goodness! I love you!"

Once Dahyun was out of sight, in walks Tzuyu from the dorm entrance. The youngest Twice member wore her favourite black ball cap and had her jacket slung over her arm which also held her handbag as she entered the living space.

"Anneyong." Tzuyu greeted softly as she took off her cap and ran her fingers through her hair in attempt to make it look better after being flattened by the head attire.

Tzuyu's eyes brightened upon seeing her girlfriend and favourite unnie in the living room. She smiled kindly to Mina who smiled back and took a seat next to Sana on the couch, letting the items she carried to rest on her lap.

"Hi ~" Tzuyu greeted Sana silently, moving closer for a kiss only to have the latter turn her head away completely.

Tzuyu blinked a few times, registering the Japanese's actions. She glanced over to Mina but only saw that she was just as surprised and confused as Tzuyu was herself.

"Erm, okay...?" If Tzuyu wasn't so confused, she would feel hurt by the older girl's actions. Nonetheless, she kissed Sana's head anyway before pulling away and getting up. "I'll go wash up for a bit."

Mina nodded and gave Tzuyu a sympathetic smile before watching the tall Taiwanese made her way to her room. Once she was sure the younger girl was out of earshot, she turned to the older Japanese she was with.

"What's going on Sana?" Mina asked, her tone indicating that she was displeased with the older girl.

"What?" Sana asked innocently.

"Don't play dumb. Why did you treat Tzuyu like that?" Mina asked in a disapproving tone. She didn’t appreciate Sana treating the maknae the way she did and as Tzuyu’s favourite unnie, Mina felt responsible to look after her whenever Sana was being a blockhead.

"I'm just not in the mood right now." The older girl mumbled under her breath.

Mina sighed, not appreciating Sana's hard-headed trait.

“Sana, Tzuyu just finished a schedule. The first thing she wanted to do when she got back was to kiss you and you brushed her off.” Mina reasoned, this time in a kinder tone. “What gives?”

“If it’s about the whole Elkie and Tzuyu thing, I’m so going to slap you.” Momo said as she appeared suddenly.

The oldest Japanese member squeezed herself beside Mina on the single-seater, wanting to be close to her girlfriend after spending the day apart which Mina of course didn’t mind.

“That’s what this is? You’re jealous?” Mina asked in disbelief.

“Why do you sound so surprised, babe? It’s Sana isn’t it?” Momo said, sticking her tongue out at Sana.

Sana glared at her best friend for a while before replying.

“Hey, in case you haven’t noticed, I turned down the jealousy factor by a lot, okay?” Sana half stated, half whined.

“Yeah and it triggered again now. And over what? A dog café.” Momo spat.

Mina’s eyes alternated between the two older girls. The conversation was not going in a direction she was hoping for. The two best friends were a necessity to each other but sometimes… their whole dumb and dumber mode doesn’t work out well.

“In case you didn’t know, you weren’t the only she didn’t invite.” Momo pouted.

Sana blinked a few times after Momo had turned the situation and made it about her. She was about to reply when Mina voiced out again.

“Okay you two. Let’s all take a breather.” The youngest of the trio suggested, trying to diffuse the situation.

After a moment of silence, Mina voiced out again. She decided to be sensitive and careful with her words.

“Sana, don’t treat Tzuyu that way. At the end of the day, she didn’t do anything wrong.” Mina said softly.

Sana sighed, “I know. I just can’t help but feel this way.”

“I thought you were cool with the whole thing.” Momo said softly as well, tilting her head to one side in wonder.
