Will you?

Description

N wasn't sure if he was seeing right, if his eyes were working properly because standing in front of him was the ghost of his past.

Foreword

He sits close to the stairs in case he needs to run back down but not too close to fall over. The sky is decorated with bright twinkling stars and for a moment he wishes they weren't, that there were clouds instead pouring water over him. He wishes he was back in that dimly lit road outside their sorry of an excuse dorm during their initial debut days. He wishes for time to turn back so that he could stop her, stop himself. He had been a coward, he wishes he wasn't.

"You should go back and get some sleep," a voice suggests and he yelps in surprise. Then a figure drops from the roof of the stairway and lands infront of him, "The event starts tomorrow."

He watches as she stands and begins to walk away, the moonlight bouncing off her body making it seem as though she's bathing in it and his breath is taken away.

There are a lot of things he wants to say and ask but he couldn't find the courage to, didn't even know where to begin. But there are two phrases on the tip of his tongue, ready to fall any moment.

'Sorry' and 'I am glad to see you again'.

"Mianhae," he decides to go with the former because 'Glad to see you again' is used for friends and they are not friends. Additionally he has never apologized to her for driving her away. She deserves it and so does he, "Mianhae Zia."
