(AU/just for the meantime)

She didn't remember me. She couldn't.

She was scared when I approached her.

Shouting, "who are you, stay away from me!", and I did.

"Unnie, I'm sorry. She couldn't remember a lot of people when she woke up." Krystal said while sobbing as she gripped hard on my arms.

"S-she couldn't remember m-me." I said overflowing with tears.

My hand trembled. My eyes filled with tears. My whole body was shaking.

"It's unavoidable, Taeyeon. You know that. She'd probably forget us all, eventually." Mrs. Jung patted my back, both of us shattered.

Then I remembered what Jessica said before, "Taeyeon, I may forget you when I wake up one day. It's just me forgetting your face for a while, but remember my heart will always remember my feelings. I love you. And nothing would make me forget that."

I waited till the nurses and her parents calmed her down. I was peeking through the small glass pane of the hospital door. I waited until I could see her.

She saw me, and our eyes met.

I smiled, and waved a little. She cocked her head to the side and smiled, her eyes felt so familiar once again. "It's good to see you again, my Jessica."
