Back ground: Farmer's daughter Samanatha (Sam) Talmar's life has consisted of 3 things since birth: family, farms, and Koreans. Her best friend, Sujin, is Korean and came to America knowing barely any English. Through the years of them growing up together, Sam helped Sujin learn English and gave her companionship here in America, so far away from her original home in South Korea. Sam also picked up on a lot of Korean from Sujin. Unfortunately Sujin had to move back to South Korea in their junior year of high school. They still keep in touch, but the distance and time difference makes things difficult. Now, 2 years later, Sujin's cousin Kim KIbum (Key) is coming to America for college. (It's a small college for music). The Talmars are letting him stay with them for the summer, until his classes start. 

Kim Kibum (Key): 21 years old and is a total diva. Doesn't like getting dirty, and would rather spend his time designing clothes than in a barn filled with stinky animals. Though he can be kind of cold at first, he can be really sweet once you've warmed up to each other.

Samantha Talmar (Sam): 19 years old and loves the farm life. She is very down to Earth and would do anything for her family and friends. She enjoys riding her horse, Sunbeam, and spending time out in the barn with the other animals. She puts on a tough apperance, but is actually really fragile inside.

Greyson Blue: 20 years old and is a farmhand at Talmar Farms. He and Sam have had on and off feelings for each other, but have never made them known. He's tall, strong, but can be really sweet. He loves the animals and farmlife. To him, city folks are a waist of time and should "stay where they belong."
