Guardian angels. For some people they are only legends made to reassure the children. They tell them they will be safe forever. They tell them there is something or someone invisible, ready to help them whenever they need it. And the children, of course, believe it. They are the imaginary friends everyone talks about. They are the mysterious companions children play with, when the parents are busy with their adult, so complicated life. And the children love to think there is someone looking for them when their mothers and fathers are busy complaining about taxes and bills, about a low income or a high blood pressure. But they do not see the guardians.

Then, the children grow up.

The children grow up and forget about games and laughter. He stops imagining creatures, stories or adventures. He becomes an adult, thinking about things like finding a new job, meeting new people, "real people" as they like to say, and nobody thinks about the angel anymore. Nobody thinks about the imaginary friend, about the mysterious companion anymore. It is just a figment of our imagination, a way to reassure children.

And the angels disappear.
