“So, how’s your day?”

“Gruelling.” Seulgi huffed, pulling Juhyun into a warm snuggle. He finally felt peace while cuddling in bed with his favorite person after an exhausting day. “Hmm... my bunny smells nice.”

“Hey, I smell nice all the time!” Juhyun playfully jabbed his well-toned arm, she knew where this conversation would lead into. “And we can’t do it tonight. Just like you, I’m tired too.”

The monolid guy puffed his cheeks and childishly pouted. “Awww, come on... Let’s give our girls a baby brother.”

Juhyun had to stop herself from laughing out loud by pursing her lips. Damn cute. “Kang Seulgi, you said you had a gruelling day.” She can only roll her eyes when she felt his hands getting naughty.

“UMMAAAAAAAAAA!” 

A shrill cry echoed from the kids’ room.

“Abort mission, Appa. Yerimie needs me.” The beautiful lady softly pushed her better half to pacify their wailing daughter.

From woohoo to boohoo real quick. He rolled over on his stomach and flailed his limbs like a madman, letting his face be buried on the pillow. “How I wish we could switch places for a day.”

“Easy there, Seulgi bear. Ha, that rhymed!”

Hearing an unfamiliar voice made him bolt up. He almost fell off the bed when he saw a blonde-haired lady sitting elegantly before his wife’s vanity table. “What the fu-“

“No cussing, please. There are kids ‘round here.” The stranger slowly approached him with a genuine smile. “Hi, I’m Wendy~ Your fairy godsister!”

It took Seulgi a few seconds to absorb what’s going on. He gaped like a fish out of water as his “fairy godsister” showed her palm for a handshake. Ah, I’m going crazy. Did my wife add some drugs to my dinner? He blinked frequent enough but said stranger was still there. Only one way to find out.

Wendy was taken aback when Seulgi suddenly launched his head on the wall. “What do you think you’re doing! Hey! Stop!”

Bumping his head definitely knocked his senses. Everything IS real. “Shi-“

“I said no cussing!” Wendy quickly covered his mouth. “I know you’re still in shock, but this is legit. I can explain, okay? ”

The monolid guy nodded and he was freed off her grip thereafter. He eyed the intruder from head to toe. She was wearing a little black dress that highlighted her milky white skin, drop earrings, and a pair of high heels. Is this how modern-day fairies look like? Well, wow. They still got nothing on Juhyun, though. Oh, snap. Hyunnie! My bunny will go berserk. “My wife... she won’t be happy to see you.”

“No worries. I froze the time.” The fairy gestured at the wall clock, and true enough, the second hand wasn’t ticking.

Seulgi squinted, this fairy seemed a bit suspicious. “What brings you here, Wanda?”

“First of all, it’s Wendy. Wen-dy. My mom is your godmother, but she’s on vacation so yeah.” She sat back at the vanity chair. “I’m here because for the first time, you wished out loud. Frustrated, eh?”

“Oh, that one...” He’s supposed to enjoy the night with his wife after a long day at work. She was snuggling with him moments ago when their youngest suddenly cried. “I think she doesn’t understand where I’m coming from.”

Wendy listened in silence as he shared about his predicament.

Seulgi slouched and hung his head low. “I work my off five days a week while she stays at home. Is it too much to ask for some alone time with my wife? I love her, Wanda... and I have needs too.”

“Again, it’s Wendy. Why are you so slow?” The fairy was quite irritated but she panicked when she saw tears in his eyes. “Oh no, don’t cry! Okay, you can call me Wanda! Whatever! Just. Don’t. Cry.”

“Maybe if I let her experience what I go through, she’ll treat me better.”

“Maybe yes, maybe no.”

“Alright, then.” Seulgi looked at his godsister, it is worth a shot. “I wish we could switch places for a day.”
