Marriage Talks
On SubtletyA/N: *bows to ask for forgiveness* [long author's note ahead]
1. I was supposed to update a year ago but... life happened.. I really do have a lot of unfinished drafts for this pairing because despite being kinda crack, THEY DO HAVE A LOT OF INTERACTIONS and despite being a horrible person who doesn't update, I did squeal a lot.
2. Some of the prompts for my drafts, I've seen in the comments. Don't worry guys quarantine is here and I have all the time in the world. The suecomma Bonnie event, w Korea event, etc etc, I've noted them. Please be understanding. Love y'all. This oneshot is an absolute cheeseball. You have been warned. Also the grammar was not checked at all.
P.S. I have never been proposed to before so please excuse what possibly could be the worst proposal scenario you've read.
"When you find babies cute, isn't it time to get married?"
Dara watched intently on the television screen as her boyfriend chuckled nervously after being asked the "marriage" question before letting out a loud laugh.
"HAHAHA. You're face was so funny when they talked about marriage. It was like you were trying hard to hide that you need to poop. You should really learn to hide that awkward face ." Dara laughed as she looked at her boyfriend's face.
"Ha.ha.ha. Since Ms. Park finds it funny we should all laugh." Sunghwa said rolling his eyes.
"Don't be a spoilsport love. Awwww uri baby Eun Chae looks so adorable. Look at those cheeks I want to kiss them. I miss her so much. " Dara said cooing at Sunghwa's niece over the television. He turned his eyes to her and away from the television, his heart fluttering at the mere sight of her. He just wants to save the image of her in his mind, sprawled on his couch, full of chips, yet still managing to be the most beautiful person he has ever seen.
Dara turned to look at him, ready to apologize if she really offended him because he wasn't saying anything. She was surprised to see that he was staring intently at her face.
"You know it's because I want to marry you and you're not ready yet right?" Sunghwa said seriously staring into his girlfriend's eyes.
She opened suddenly at a lost for words. "Yy..-ah! that's not funny." she said stuttering suddenly hoping that he wouldn't notice the blush that was about to overtake her face. Oh my god.. I need to get a grip.. Let's try not to overthink this.. I HAVE TO STAY CALM..ok Dara you have to breathe.. she thought to herself. An awkward silence took over and only the background sound from the television can be heard.
Sunghwa, sensing his girlfriend's obvious discomfort at his statement, sighed internally and decided to relieve his girlfriend from her misery. "HAHAHA. I wish you could see your face. I guess it isn't just me who needs to work on hiding my awkward face right? Sweet revenge" he said sporting a half-assed smirk.
Dara remained silent and preoccupied by her own thoughts which started to make Sunghwa nervous. "Uhm..We should make time to visit Eun Chae since you miss her too right? We should drop by the bakeshop to get her some sweets. What about some strawberry cake? We could buy candles too since kids love to pretend it's their birthday. How about going to that bakeshop you love in Hongdae? I love the oatmeal cookies there too so maybe we could get some as
