                                    THE VAMPIRES
                                         Chapter 1 

"I'm done with this ..... He gave me a freaking C ....on a paper I spent a week on" baekhyun kept rambling while his hands moved in all direction trying to express how angry he is. He then turned to his best friend kyungsoo who was just laughing his out . "Shut up kyungie...before I shove my paper into your mouth" baekhyun said as he gave Kyungsoo a glare. But kyungsoo just continued to laugh , actually started laughing harder after baekhyun's threat. Baekhyun stopped walking folded his arms on his chest a gave Kyungsoo a pout. Which made kyungsoo stop laughing. Kyungsoo looked back at his friend's pouting face and couldn't help but feel bad for his friend. He slightly patted his friends cheeks. "I'm sorry ...I laughed...but you just looked really funny insulting that stupid lecturer."kyungsoo said as he started to walk again.baekhyun followed kyungsoo not before whinnied. "Is he always going to give me a C ...if you know ...I don't agree to sleep with him"baekhyun said after some time aa he let out a sigh. Kyungsoo looked back at his friend with pity. Yes! It was true. Few days ago he saw baekhyun crying his eyes out in the middle of the night . At first baekhyun didn't want to tell anything to kyungsoo . But with a few kind words and assurance. Baekhyun told kyungsoo how one of their lecturer was failing baekhyun purposefully just so that he could get baekhyun to sleep with him. It's not like kyungsoo didn't do anything , he did go to complain to the principal of the university only to know that the lecturer was the principal's nephew. He did think of complaining to the police only to learn that the lecturer was very influential person ...he had the whole police department under his arms. So , there was nothing he or baekhyun could do to help baekhyun in this situation. They couldn't even leave the university , because SM university was one of the best and costly university and both of them werent there because of scholarship but had to pay every penny to get into it. So, they couldn't just leave it would be waste of their money and time. 

" Maybe I should just agree....I can't afford to get another C" baekhyun said as he looked at kyungsoo with teary eyes. Kyungsoo immediately hugged baekhyun. "Are you crazy we didn't fight against him...so that you could just give in..... baekhyun be strong...we will find a way" he said baekhyun aa he hugged him even more tightly, letting baekhyun cry on his shoulder. After sometime both of them parted and they made way to their house. Which was a small house that both of them paid for. It had 2 rooms a bathroom a kitchen and a living room and a small lawn with a shed.
They were just two house away from their house , kyungsoo realized that baekhyun was still depressed. He placed a hand on baekhyun's shoulder catching baekhyun's attention. "How about a bucket of ice-cream and movie marathon tonight ...we do have a holiday tomorrow"kyungsoo said giving baekhyun a smile . Baekhyun just smiled back happily. "You do know how to cheer me up " baekhyun said as he start to talk again.
" So then taehyung was like "but it makes no sense " and I tried to explain it to him again....and he just goofily started to giggle again" baekhyun continued to ramble as they reached their front door.kyungsoo kept nodding at every word baekhyun said even if he was not listening to a word baekhyun was saying. Kyungsoo took out his key and tried to unlock the door when he realized that the door was already unlocked. He began to panic. "Baekhyun ...shssssssss...there's someone in our house" he whispered to baekhyun as he pointed at his door knob.baekhyun looked at kyungsoo for a while until it hit him what kyungsoo was try to say. He looked at kyungsoo totally scared. "What are we going to do now?" Baekhyun whispered back. "Get ..that baseball bat from the shed....then let's go in and see if the thief is still there" kyungsoo whispered as he pointed at the shed. Baekhyun nodded as he ran to grab the baseball bat ,By the time he came back , kyungsoo was on his phone. "Okay...so now we go in...and check around....you go in first with the baseball bat...I'll be in the back...if we see anyone I'll speed dial the police" kyungsoo whispered as he showed his phone to baekhyun. Baekhyun just looked at kyungsoo as if he was crazy. "You've got to be kidding...why should I go first......you know I get scared just by seeing a lizard....you go in first...I'll be on the phone" baekhyun whined which caused kyungsoo to roll his eyes...but he did give his phone to baekhyun as he took hold of the baseball bat. He then slowly opened the door , taking small steps they made way into the house. Both of them freezed when they heard a groan coming from the living room. They looked at each other totally scared about who was in the living room. They then started taking slow steps towards the living room. Kyungsoo gripped the baseball bat harder , while baekhyun held his breath and walked behind of kyungsoo. Kyungsoo then slowly entered the living room and instantly switched on the light while baekhyun stood outside the living room. 
he held the phone hard. His eyes were closed tightly assuring himself that kyungsoo was a tough guy and he could handle the man. But he was proved wrong as he soon heard a sound of the baseball bat crashing to the ground. Baekhyun was scared now very scared. What scared him more was that it was completely silent and this silence scared him more. He slowly put his head into the living room to see kyungsoo standing still as he saw at a certain point on the sofa. Baekhyun then slowly entered the living room only to scream loudly. There on their sofa laid two stranger covered in blood. Both of them were unconscious .
His scream woke kyungsoo out of his thoughts. Kyungsoo looked at baekhyun he jumped and covered baekhyun's mouth due to which baekhyun could only give out muffle. Kyungsoo tried hard to calm baekhyun down . He pressed his hands harder on baekhyun's mouth as he mouth a "shhhhhhh" baekhyun instantly got the clue to shut up. There was silence for sometime. Baekhyun could only hear his heart beat. The the silence came to an end as the friends heard a whimper... " Kyu.... Kyungsoo" both the friends instantly snapped their heads towards the whimper.they saw that one of the unconscious man slowly open his eyes....he whispered kyungsoo's name again as he raised his hand in the direction of kyungsoo . His face painted with pure pain until he suddenly shut his eyes completely.
