"Er... Princess, I just want to say that-"

"it's not good enough? Well, you're not wrong, maybe I can change to a better dress."

"N-no... I mean..."

"oh shush, I know it's not good enough so I will change to another one"

You think being a princess will make your wardrobe full of beautiful dress, so if there is a dance or whatsoever, you can just pick something and did'nt care is it beautiful or not? Well, you are wrong. VERY wrong. 2 hours! Byul already in Yongsun's chamber for 2 hours for God's sake! Just because yongsun always think her dress isn't good enough.

'I'm. Tired. Of. This. Nonsense! '

"how about this? Is it good?" the princess come out with a breathtaking velvet dress and a red masquerade mask. Byul gawking at the angelic figure in front of her. Thankfully, she wear her mask so the princess can't look at her 'drop-jaw'

'Oh wow, she's beautiful'

Byul snapped from her thought when she heard a shy giggle coming out from her princess. 

"t-thanks... I guess" 

'did I just say it out loud?!'

Byul can't believe it. She's never the one that just blurt out her thoughts. Maybe... Because she's looking at a really beautiful and (shockingly) shy princess in front of her.

Byul coughing awkwardly as she looks at the clock. 

"We still got half an hour before the masquerade start. What do you want to do, princess?"

"well, didn't you have to change?"

"...no..?"

Yongsun shocked by byul answer, 

"what?! Of course you have to change! There's no way you will dance with your uniform!"

Byul just scratched her neck. 

"well, I have to guarding the hall. So, I won't attend the dance." 

After a few second, yongsun start to pout and then leaving byul in the chamber alone. Meanwhile, byul just standing there, dumbfounded by her princess action. 

'what did I do wrong?'

Before the masquerade, Yongsun still pouting and keep mumbling about, "she never attend to a party with me" or "I will bored to death" and so on. 

Well, you can't blame her. Yongsun always found byul easy to talk with. But it's not like yongsun is an awkward people. Just, she never comfotable enough to other people when they talk. With other people, they always talk about politics or marriage proposal. Ugh, stupid people. Isn't there another interesting subject that you can talk about? 

A tap on her shoulder broke her 'byul-didn't-understand-that-I-will-get-bored' spell-(wait, didn't she just mumbling? Well, she keep mumbling it, so I mistake it as a spell,sorry) 

She turn her head to see her mother smiling to her. 

"Don't just stand there. There is a lot of people waiting you in the hall." and then she obliged to make her entrance after she put her red masquerade mask.

A lot of people recognize her. They start to talk and throw a flirting here and there. 

"princess, you look so stunning"

"you pick a really beautiful dress princess."

"you really are beautiful, the rumour is true"

And bla bla bla. Whatever. 

"gentleman, I'm sorry for my rudeness, but I want to take a drink there, can you please move for a bit? " then she leave the 'gentleman's to take a drink.

Yongsun sighed as she take a glass of water. She drink it slowly.

'finally away from them' She thought.

She looked around and noticed some people already have their partner for dance. 

'here i am, alone with no partner.'

And now she remembered why she's alone. She start to sulking and mumbling her spell again. Before she can go outside, find byul and talk to her (or maybe strangle her for leaving her alone), there is this man, that walk to her with his smile. 

"hello, Princess. My name is Eric nam, a prince from a nearby kingdom. It's a pleasure to meet you in here." he say with a smile.

'he's kind ofcute' she unconsciously greeted him with a smile, 

"the pleasure is mine, Prince Eric" the prince blushes and slightly scratch his neck. His other hand playing with his suit. He hesitating to say something but  in the end, yongsun can't hear what he say.

"I'm sorry, I can't hear you" 

"I said, would you like to be my partner for the first dance?" he bow slightly and waiting for her answer. 

Meanwhile, yongsun feel her heart beating faster and she can feel her face getting hot too. She gulping and answer him shyly.

"Yes, it's a pleasure to me"
