I'm still looking, she was covered in leather and gold
Somewhere in BrooklynSpecial thanks to MagiMasala for beta reading ~~~
Seulgi realized about thirty seconds after getting off the train that she had no idea what she was doing.
Or more accurately, she knew what she was doing. But she didn't know how to go around doing it.
How the hell am I supposed to find somebody that I don't know in the middle of this travesty of architecture???
Seulgi was in an unfamiliar street with what seemed to be thousands of people trying to get to work on time. Add that to the constant jostling and the fact that Seulgi was in an intimidating and bustling part of town, and you get a perfect recipe for failure.
But Seulgi was on a mission. Not an ordinary mission, but something akin to a pilgramage.
You see, Seulgi was looking for an angel.
Not just any angel, but ridiculously pretty angel. The angel would stand out in the crowd, surely, with her halo of benevolence and beauty.
The only problem was that in this sea of people, it would be hard to locate a single person, no mather how breathtakingly attractive that person was. But she had to try. She refused to let this moment of color in her bland world slip away.
On the streets, kicking rocks, circling the same block
She supposed the first thing she could do was look around the nearby vicinity. Perhaps she would get lucky and find the angel quickly, get her name and number, and haul her back to university to study for those damn exams.
Of course she didn't get lucky.
Seulgi spent the better part of an hour looking around, checking for those beautiful eyes, or the mystical smile. But it seemed as if fate itself had aligned against her, and she had to apologize sheepishly to no less than ten pretty girls with dark hair for mistaking them for someone else.
Someone I don't even know... dammit don't think like that. One of those girls even seemed interested in me......Don't get distracted Seulgi!!!
What should I do next?
Tapping people's shoulders, asking if they know her
"Excuse me, have you seen a girl with black hair and. . . dark eyes? I know that's not very descriptive but oh----don't leave,wait--!"
"Um, sorry to interrupt you, but have you seen someone who kinda looks like. . . uh. . .Taeyeon from SNSD? You don't know who that is? Oh,ok. . ."
"Hi, do you recall seeing a shortish girl with the most beautiful eyes and---------------- No? Bye then, I guess. . ."
By the time the sun began to set, Seulgi must have asked a hundred people in the huge plaza, but to no avail. It seemed like it simply wasn't to be.
Everyday's the same, it's back to the train
With a dejected sigh, she checked her phone as she headed back to the subway station.
It's already 6 PM? And I have 11 missed calls from Wendy she's gonna be mad I should call her back
"H-Hello?"
"WHERE THE EVERLIVING HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?!?!?!? WE WERE SUPPOSED TURN IN THREE STUDY GUIDES TODAY!!! THREE!!! ARE YOU TRYING TO FAIL THE YEAR!!!!"
"w-well, you see, i-it's a long story. Can we meet at the cafe in thirty minutes?? I promise to explain everything there."
". . . . . If your excuse isn't bett
