LE tried to clear her mind while having a long walk to Hani’s apartment. She promised she’d be there to pick her up for their early dinner but right now she doesn’t even know if she wanna have dinner. Or basically she just doesn’t know if she wanna do anything right now. Solji wants space, which means LE probably ed up.

The older woman knocked on the door to Hani’s apartment and waited patiently for the younger woman to open the door. During the walk to the apartment, LE unknowingly cried at the thought of hurting Solji, and didn’t realise her mascara had smudged. Hani was shocked at the appearance of the older woman, she pulled LE right into a tight hug, knowing immediately that something had went wrong at Solji’s.

“I’m sorry.” LE whispered as Hani brushed her hair softly. Sure, they were hugging by the door, but it doesn’t matter because all that mattered to Hani was that LE was okay and comforted.

“Whatever for?” Hani pulled apart and wiped LE’s tears away from her beautiful face.

“Solji unnie can’t hang out with us. I broke her heart once, and now I broke it again. How could I ask her to hang out with me and the woman I like? It was obviously a mistake and I shouldn’t have asked her anything at all!” LE stepped away from Hani.

Hani was at a loss, was LE blaming her for wanting to hang out with Solji and lessen her stress of being stuck in between two girls?

“You’re blaming me?” Hani asked as her eyes start to water.

“No… I’m not. I’m sorry. Maybe we should all take a break and have some fresh air.”

Hani scoffed, “You know what, LE, it’s okay. I’ll make things easier for you, by letting you be with Solji unnie.”

“What are you talking about? I like you, Hani.” LE grabbed Hani’s arms but the younger woman yanked her hands away.

“I can never be as important as Solji unnie, admit it. You’ll always love her so go back to her, LE. You need her, and she needs you. You guys are perfect for each other, okay. Let’s just end this before we even start anything.”

“Why can’t you just trust that I don’t have feelings for her anymore? Why can’t you just see that I am deeply in love with you?” LE was weeping, she doesn’t know what she will do without Hani in her life, but she also can’t forgive herself if anything happens to Solji.

“Because your actions say otherwise?” Hani laughed despite tears rolling down her face.

They looked at each other for another good two minutes before Hani started wiping her tears, “That’s it for us then, I guess. I really like you, LE…”

“Then wait for me, please. Hani, I promise you I will come back to you.” LE was literally begging Hani for another chance. She knew that chance was small, but with Hani? She’d do anything to keep her by her side.

“I really don’t know. Maybe we should stop contacting each other first, okay? When we’ve both cleared our heads, then maybe we can talk…” Hani was going to go back into her apartment but felt LE grabbed her hand.

“I’ll always be here when you need, I promise you. I don’t break promises, you know that.”

Hani smiled faintly before forcefully removing LE’s hand from her’s. If we’re meant to be, we will be.

LE felt empty. Like her life has gone meaningles
