“Nayeon..” jihyo reached the girl’s hand who sat beside her

“yeah?” Nayeon seemed to not really care, as the movie she’s watching was very overwhelming and interesting.

”I like you..” jihyo looked away

”hmm, I like you too.”

”eh?” Jihyo’s mouth agape while looking to the older

nayeon smiled , still locking her eyes to the television.

”what kind of like really?” Jihyo tried to ask another question

”why should i tell you tho?” Nayeon answered unintrestingly

“i dont know..maybe i just want to know how you really feel?”

”yeah, sure. I like you. “ nayeon sighed

”really? Isnt uh..jeongyeon with you?”

”im tired of her s.” Nayeon looked into jihyo’s eyes closely

”oh..” jihyo nodded.

jihyo is still confused. What kind of like that nayeon meant really? Is it a like as a friend or more special than that?

”so..you going to prom tomorrow?” Jihyo asked again.

”yeah, of course i would.”

“Sounds nice.” Jihyo nodded again

“have u got urself a date?” Nayeon elbowed the younger

”no, not a single person asked me. So thats why im thinking to stay home.”

”ehhh jihyo ssi..dont be like that, come, go with me.”

”i dont think its a great idea..” jihyo blushed

”come on-“ nayeon laughed

finally the time came , the prom night.

Jihyo wore a beautiful white dress that night. She isnt really feeling comfortable at all, but still. Its for nayeon anyways.

that night they met at the prom and so they talked for hours. Nayeon promised jihyo to dance with her if she gets her a bottle of clear water well since, nayeon cant stop chugging down alcohol.

jihyo came back a few minutes later beyond excitement but she couldnt find nayeon anywhere.

Soon she walked down the hall and she saw chaeyoung and dahyun placing their ears against the classroom’s door.

”you guys see nayeon anywher-“

“SHHHHHHHHHHH” chaeyoung and dahyun closed

”what the f-“ jihyo break free from chaeyoung’s grip

”listen” dahyun signalled jihyo to place her ear against the door

jihyo was so surprised yet she couldnt believe.

nayeon moans jeongyeon’s name.

and she really thought,

this could be the night she and nayeon can be together.

Just when jihyo was about to take her leave..

”help...” a faint voice of nayeon’s came from the classroom

”you guys hear that?” Dahyun whispered

”yeah i did.” Chaeyoung agreed 

jihyo stormed inside the classroom without thinking twice. Painfully she saw nayeon being pinned down by jeongyeon on the teacher’s desk. Thankfully none of nayeon’s clothes were taken off but her neck was wildly being feasted by Jeongyeon.

”get away from her!” Jihyo pushed Jeongyeon 

“who the are you?!” Jeongyeon yelled to jihyo’s face, trying to grab nayeon’s wrist 

“i said get away from her! She’s drunk you punk!” Jihyo shoved Jeongyeon against the whiteboard behind her

”listen, choo-choo. Stay out of my if you dont want trouble.”

”you can go yourself.” Jihyo grabbed nayeon’s wrist, dragging her out of the venue.

”lets go back to your home.” Jihyo stopped a taxi 

“i dont think its a good idea..Jeongyeon will come for me..”

”hm..” Jihyo opened the taxi door and let nayeon slide in first

”to my place then.” Jihyo smiled

nayeon grabbed her phone and dialed her dad.

”appa, I’m staying at jihyo’s house tonight okay? No, im not drunk. No no, no Jeongyeon i promise. Yeah, I’ll be home tomorrow. Yeah, thanks appa, good night.”

when they arrived home jihyo grabbed her favorite shirt and shorts to give it to nayeon. 

“Here. This is more comfortable than the dress.” Jihyo handed over the clothes to nayeon

”thank you.” 

Jihyo waited patiently for nayeon to change her clothes in the bathroom. Meanwhile she prepared some water for nayeon since she didn’t even get to sip any clear water from prom.

”you sober now?” 

“Yeah. I think so, my head just hurts right now .”

”so, what happened back there?”

”jeong tried to me, i dont know, maybe she thought that could bring me back since i always liked a good ”

”eh?”

”im joking! Nah, i dont know what’s in her mind.”

They talked for a while, till nayeon literally slept while she’s talking.

since all of the rooms in jihyo’s house are occupied by her family members, she had no choice but to carry nayeon to sleep on her bed.

After covering nayeon with a blanket, jihyo lay down beside the girl. She had to squeeze her body a little well since nayeon took a lot of space because she spreads her legs and arms while sleeping.

just when jihyo was about to fall asleep she felt something heavy on her chest.

”eh..” jihyo noticed nayeon resting her head on her chest

jihyo wrapped her arm around nayeon’s waist and closed her eyes again.

she couldnt sleep. This whole sleep-cuddle thingy is very new to her. She opened her eyes staring at the beauty sleeping on top of her.

”i can kiss her..” “what no” “maybe she wants to” “ehhhhhh what am i doing” jihyo screamed a thousands of sentences inside her head noticing herself leaning in to kiss Nayeon’s lips.

”watchu doin?” Nayeon opened her eyes

”o . “ Jihyo cursed herself

”what did u tried to do ?”

”i..i wanted to uh..”

their lips were less than an inch apart so they had no choice but to breathe against eachother’s face.

jihyo’s eyes widened as nayeon closed the gap between their lips. 

Jihyo close her eyes tightly while keeping her lips still. “Oh my god, my first kiss..”

“Relax..dont be too tense..” nayeon mumbled between the kisses

a few seconds later jihyo gained courage and finally try to kiss nayeon back. 

“Strawberries..” jihyo thought of when she tasted nayeon’s lips

[the next day]

”dear diary, 

i still cannot believe that Im Nayeon kissed me. I might be a dork but, I’m not shy to show my happiness to you, diary. Im nayeon is beautiful. Her hair, her eyes.. the kiss was light as a feather.. i can remember and still feel her lips placed on mine..i really-“ jihyo stopped writing and placed her precious diary under her pillow as soon as nayeon walked in

”nani kore? Why does everyone doesnt know how to knock?” 

“Why would i knock, not you’re or something..” nayeon sat beside jihyo on the bed

“Well i could be!” Jihyo sulked

”awwww poor baby...” nayeon hugged jihyo as tight as she could

”arrr what u guys tryna do here ?” Tzuyu walked in but both of them wont even notice

”aw. Shoot.” Tzuyu slowly backed off existing jihyo’s room and closed the door shut

”jihyo-ya..”

”mm?”

”I’m moving to Australia next week..”

”what did you say?” Jihyo broke the hug

”i mean, its the best place for me to continue my studies. My dreams will come true. Its also a good place to run away from problems here and -“

”Jeongyeon?” Jihyo cut off

”y-yeah.”

”its always been about her isnt it?” Jihyo stood up from the bed

”no, but its best for me and my father said-“

”i understand, nabongs. Its okay.”

”you wouldnt want me to leave right? Jihyo-ya?”

jihyo silently took her diary under the pillow and walked towards the door “if i ever wanted you to leave, I must’ve been crazy.” 

Jihyo twisted the doorknob- “YAAAARGHHH” tzuyu, chaeyoung and mina fell frontwards because of leaning against the door

”jeez. You guys cant really stay out of my stuff.”

”this is weird. Jihyo isnt like this right? I wonder whats up with her.” Nayeon sighed.
