The next morning, Tae was super energetic. He was making a yummy breakfast when jin hugged him from behind and kissed his cheek. Tae smiled and placed his head on top of jin’s. After a few moments, Jin finally spoke his mind and surprised Tae 

Jin: Marry me? 

Tae’s hands stopped turning the pancakes, he chuckled lightly at Jin’s joke

Tae: Nope!

Jin sounded bewildered

Jin: No?? 

Tae looked at jin who was genuinely sad, like someone whose proposal had been rejected

Tae put the pancakes in their plates and turned around and asked: you’re kidding right?

Jin shook his head

Jin: No, I asked you to marry me, why would I joke about such a thing

Tae opened his mouth a couple of times to say something but closed it cause he was so confused by the sudden proposal! He finally asked

Tae: why? Why would you want to marry me!

Jin locked eyes with Tae and admitted honestly

Jin: Cause I love you! 

Tae wanted to believe Jin, but he for sure knew Jin was going insane!

Tae: you don’t love me, You just loved the ! 

He then kept rambling: I mean, yea, it was really good, actually it was awesome! I’m not gonna lie, we have some great chemistry in bed! But that doesn’t mean you need to propose to me!

Jin looked at him, disappointment written all over his face! He then tried to reason with Tae

Jin: but I love you! I want to have with you for the rest of my life! Every day and night! 

Tae smiled shyly

Tae: oh! Well, I’m flattered, but do you really want to have with the same person forever? I mean, commitment is great, but we’re still so young for marriage! We can just enjoy each other's company for now! You still need to try other things! You can try other boys and even girls! Be adventurous! And then settle down after experimenting with your uality!

Jin looked down at tae’s lower half and whispered

Jin: but I really liked yours! I don’t want to experiment! 

And he just realised

Jin: maybe you don’t like mine?

Tae quickly denied!

Tae: NO! That’s not it!

He shook his head out of frustration and continued

Tae: marriage is just something really important! You can’t just marry someone who you don’t really know! There comes a lot of responsibilities with marriage!

Jin tried again, with a convincing voice

Jin: but I know you! You are a good person! You helped me come on earth! You’re kind and you have the biggest heart! I love you! I never had a family! I want you to be my family! We can start with adopting dogs and make our family!

Tae liked the idea, he liked jin and living with him. Jin would be the best husband and dad to their dogs and future kids! Caring and protective! But this was all too soon for it to happen! He at least wanted to be with him for a year or two before marrying him!

He didn’t want to break the boy’s heart but he couldn’t give him the answer he wanted either!

Tae: my answer is no! I can’t marry you.

Jin looked away, it broke tae’s heart, he looked like a kicked puppy! Tae grabbed his cheeks and stared at him intensely

Tae: I like you Jin, a lot! But I want to date you for a bit at least. You can get to know my friends and family before we move to the next step in our lives! 

Jin still looked down and upset

Tae kissed him, feeling a bit guilty for making the merman upset. So he tried to brighten the boy’s mood

Tae: I don’t even think you can put up with me! You’ll get so tired of me after a while that you’d be happy we’re not married!

Jin looked up quickly and said

Jin: never ever!

For a second tae was about to say, it, I’ll marry you! Jin was too good for this world! Too good to love him! The world didn’t deserve him! He didn’t deserve him!

Jin then broke his train of thoughts.

Jin: what do you do on a date? 

Tae chuckled

Tae: well, we can go to the museum, or theater, or an amusement park. It’s a lot of fun! 

Jin finally smiled at him and said

Jin: I like to have fun with you for the rest of my life.

Tae blushed like crazy and looked away, Jin is simply adorable.

Hi everyone! I know it's been almost 4 and a half monthes since last time that I updated! Don't wanna bore you with excuses! So here is the new chapter! I'm kinda lost with what I wanna do with this story but I WILL FINISH IT!
