It's been 2 weeks now since we haven't seen each other. I kept glancing over my phone to see if there's any messages or calls from him but none. Same as these past few weeks.

"Your boyfriend still hasn't contacted you yet?" I turned over to my new colleague, lisa.

"No. Do you think something happened to him?" I stood up from my chair and started pacing

"We would know. I'm sure it'll be on the news." She borrowed my phone and accidentally saw our pictures and videos. After that incident, I had to delete all of our stiff together to prevent that from happening again. Even keeping it in a flash drive isn't safe considering how uncoordinated I could be.

"I still can't believe you're with him, and this library is your bridge. Maybe I should've gotten here earlier." I laughed at her remark.

"No. If you meet them by chance, then that's the time I'd introduce you." She closed then pouted.

"Will he be make it tomorrow?" She asked, bumping my hip.

"I don't know." I walked to my chair, twirled, then slumped down ungracefully

"It's your graduation, maybe he's preparing for a surprise." My eyes lit up but then I frowned.

"I hate surprises." I mumbled and she just laughed at me.

"What?! Isn't that the sweetest?" There she goes daydreaming again. Lisa's such a hopeless romantic.

"How bout you? How come you never had a boyfriend?" She looked and me and rolled her eyes

"I gave up on that a long time ago." I arched my brow

"Really? Then what about the part where you said forever exists?" I mimicked her high-pitched voice.

"Elaborate." I laughed as she dragged a chair and sat next to me.

"By the way, you're good with make up right?" She grinned and scooted in front of me, sitting in the right posture and put out a hand for a hand shake.
