Chapter 25

Author's POV.

Hyunmi was getting ready to go see Jisung since it was 12:00 P.M. on a saturday. She decided that today she is going to go talk to Jisung and try to get him to talk to her. She finish getting ready and walk out of her room to see Yoonho in the living room. Yoonho was on his knees on the floor while his arm was up in the air since it was his punishment from what happened last night. Her omma was furious at him. Yoonho hates this punishment, but at least he didn't get kicked out of the house and live in the streets. She walk towards him and , "are you having fun, oppa?"

"Shut up," Yoonho pouted and ask, "how long do you think I have to do this?"

"I don't know, it always depends on omma since today she has a day off," Hyunmi answer as she walk to the kitchen. Hyunmi's omma door open and her omma went to the living room, then Yoonho ask his omma with a cute pout on his face, "when can this punishment go away?"

"When you go apologize to Jihee!" His omma answer with a glare, then Yoonho was about to say something until his omma also said, "and when you start acting like a grown adult!"

"Omma~" Yoonho pouted when she said that, "I promise! I won't do it again and I'll call her! Really!"

"Better call her right now in front of me," his omma reply as she sat on the couch. Hyunmi grab a toast that was on the plate since her omma made toast in the morning and she ate it. She finished before Yoonho called Jihee, then Hyunmi said to her omma, "I'll be back."

"Where are you going?" Her omma ask with a curious face as Hyunmi got to the door and put her shoes on. She answer, "I'm going to talk to Jisung since I haven't seen him in a while."

"Ok, be safe," her omma reply and Yoonho sat next to omma as Hyunmi left the house. She started walking to the bus stop since Jisung's house was far from where Hyunmi lives. When she got to the bus stop, the bus arrived right when she got there. When the bus stop close to Jisungs' house, she started walking to his house. When she got to his house, she knock on the door and the door open. It was Jisungs' omma again and Hyunmi ask with a smile, "hi imo, is Jisung here?"

"Yeah, Jisung is sleeping in his room since he came home late last night," she answer with a smile. Hyunmi smiled at her and ask, "is it ok if I visit him?"

"Sure! Come on in," she answer as she was smiling and let Hyunmi in. She showed Hyunmi to the living room and Hyunmi sat down on the couch, while Jisung's omma went to get Jisung. Hyunmi waited for 15 minutes; Jisung and his omma came down from Jisung's room, then Jisung looked at Hyunmi with a sad smile. Hyunmi notice that he seem sad, but she ignored it when he ask, "what are you doing here?"

"I just want to see how you are doing," Hyunmi answer as she was looking at Jisung, "and I heard about you getting married..."

"O-Oh..." Jisung reply with a sad face. Jisungs' omma left them alone to talk. Jisung sat on the couch that was in front of Hyunmi, then said, "w-well, I am getting married..."

"But, is it like a forced marriage or did you decide to just get married each other?" Hyunmi ask with a curious face. Jisung sigh at her question and answer, "me and her decided to get married."

She look at him with a surprise face and said with a sad face, "but Jisung, you know that she loves Dowoon-"

"But, she told me that he doesn't want to be with her because of how rich she is," Jisung reply when he was cutting Hyunmi's sentence off. Hyunmi sigh at his reply and said, "who cares about that, I know he doesn't want her to get married."

"Look, this is my choice," Jisung reply as he was getting frustrated at her, "just leave me alone."

He was about to walk away from her, but she stop Jisung by holding his hand as she said with a sad face, "Jisung, I know you don't want to marry her."

"At least it is better than you not wanting to be with me," Jisung sadly reply and pull his hand away from Hyunmi, then he sadly walk to his room again. Hyunmi sadly sigh with a sad face, then decided to leave since Jisung left her alone in the living room. Hyunmi started walking towards the door and open the front door, then she walk out of the house. Jisungs' omma stop Hyunmi when Hyunmi got outside the house. She had a sad smile on her face as she said, "I'm sorry about what Jisung said to you, but he canceled the wedding for Choonhee's sake."

"W-What?" Hyunmi ask with a shock face when Jisung's omma said that, "why?"

"Well, he told me and his appa that the guy Choonhee likes is trying to get her back. He also said that he shouldn't force himself to like someone he doesn't want to be with," she explain as she was feeling a little sad and happy that Jisung grew up pretty well, "which is why I told his appa not to force him anymore because he is hurt. His appa agreed with me and we announce to the public that the wedding is canceled."

"But, why would he lie to me?" Hyunmi ask with a sad and confuse face. She ask with a sad face, "why do you think he lie to you?"

Hyunmi look at the ground with a sad face when Hyunmi knew why when Jisung's omma ask Hyunmi that. Jisung's omma notice Hyunmi's sad face and said, "I don't blame you for hurting my son because I know you didn't mean to hurt him, but I think it is best if you don't be friends with him anymore unless he forgives you."

Hyunmi look at her with a shock face when she said that. Hyunmi was about to say something, "imo-"

"Have a good day," she bid goodbye as she was cutting Hyunmi's sentence off. She went back inside the house before Hyunmi could say anything, then Hyunmi slowly started walking to the bus stop to go back home again with a sad face. When Hyunmi was walking to the bus stop, all she could think about is, "do I like Hyunjin or Jisung? Why does it hurt when he lie to me? Why does it hurt when I thought he is going to get married?"

As she was thinking about it, she didn't notice Jisung was far behind her the whole time since he was worried about her getting home safe. When he saw that she was safetly at the bus stop, he thought to himself, "I still care and love you, Hyunmi. I'm sorry for everything."

When Hyunmi got inside the bus when it arrive, Jisung started walking back to his house with a sad face.

"Now are you sure this is gonna work?" Dowoon asked looking at Sungjin. Sungjin sighed
