Chapter 4

Hyunmi's POV.

Hyunjin and I were quietly just standing next to each other on the bus. I can feel the awkwardness between him and I. Hyunjin bit his lips as he was looking at me and asked, "so, was he your older brother?"

I looked at him and then look away as I answered shyly, "n-not really, but he is like one to me. Why?"

"Nothing," he reply with a small smile as he looked away and it suddenly got awkward again. I thought getting angry about what happened, "I am going to kill Minhyuk oppa after school."

"Hyunmi," Hyunjin reply looking at me. I turn to look at Hyunjin when he called for me and asked with a surprised face, "huh?"

"I'm sorry if I am making you feel awkward, I just want to be friends with you," Hyunjin reply smiling as he scratched the back of his head. I blushed and reply smiling shyly as I shook my head, "i-it's ok." 

He smiled even more from my answer and reply, "you should smile often, it looks cute on you."

I looked at him with surprised face as my cheeks turn red. I looked away blushing at his comment and he chuckled when he saw my face, then the bus stopped at my school. He saw my school, then he turn to look at me and reply with a smile, "this is your stop."

I looked to see it was my stop and then I looked at Hyunjin with a smile. I reply shyly, "um, have a good day, Hyunjin."

He nodded smiling when he looked at me and I was about to go since I thought he won't say anything else, but he reply, "I'll see you later."

I turn to look at him when he said that and I saw him smiling widely at me. I felt my heart beating fast again when he gave me the smile and I smiled shyly as I nod at him. I walked out of the bus and turned around to look at the bus as soon as I got off the bus. I can see him inside the bus waving bye at me with a smile that makes my heart beat. I waved bye back as the bus door was closing and he smiled even more when he saw me waving bye back, then he looked away when the bus started moving. 

I sighed with a pout and thought, "I guess it wasn't that bad, but I wasn't suppose to talk to him at all..."

"I'm sorry if I am making you feel awkward, I just want to be friends with you." Hyunjin reply smiling as he scratched the back of his head.

"Aish, why does that part bother me so much?" I thought frowning as I was thinking about what Hyunjin said to me, then I scratched the back of my head as I was still frowning, "I shouldn't even feel like this because of Jihee and Hyunjin have a thing. I did promise Jisung I wouldn't talk to Hyunjin anymore after-"

"Hyunmi!"

I jumped when I heard someone yelled my name, so I turn to look to see who called for me and saw Jihee waving hi with a smile as she was walking towards me. I waved at her with a fake smile, so that she doesn't see my concern face and she ran to me. As soon as she got to me, she reply smiling at me, "hey."

"H-Hey," I reply with a fake smile. She asked smiling, "so, did you talk to him?"

"To who?" I asked with a confused face pretending not to know what she is talking about. She rolled her eyes playfully since she knew that I was pretending and reply with a smile, "the bus boy."

"O-Oh," I reply scratching my head nervously, "we sort of did talk, but-"

"What do you mean "sort of did talk"?" She asked with a confused face by cutting my sentence off, "is it a yes or a no?"

"Yes, but-"

"Oh my god!" She reply smiling happily, then she gave me a huge hug and continued happily, "I am so proud of you!"

I nodded slowly with a nervous smile as I hugged her back and thought, "I should have said no."

She pulled away with a smile and I put on my fake smile again. She reply smiling happily as we both were walking to class, "alright, let me tell you the next step!"

"The next step?" I asked slowly getting nervous and she nodded smiling, then reply, "so, the next step is to get closer with him."

"Closer?" I asked getting even more nervous as we stopped walking when we got to our classroom. She put 2 of her pointer fingers together and reply smiling again, "yeah, closer."

"J-Jihee, I don't think I want to talk to him anymore," I reply slowly with a sad smile on my face. She asked with a curious and worried face, "why? Did something happen?"

"I just feel like he has a girlfriend," I reply with a sad smile on my face, "I just don't want to ruin something."

"Ruin?" She asked with a confused face. I bit my lips and reply, "uh, ruin his love life when he has a girlfriend."

"How do you know that he has a girlfriend?" She asked with a curious face. I bit my lips with a shock face, then I reply getting nervous as I look at the ground, "J-Jisung knows him."

"Wait, he goes to the same school as Jisung?" She asked with a surprised face. I nodded slowly as I bit my lips getting nervous. She nodded slowly as she was thinking and then she asked looking at me, "do you know the bus boys name? I might know him."

"It's Hyun-I mean Hyunsik," I lied as I was trying hard not to be nervous around Jihee. S
