Chapter 11

Hyunmi's POV.

"Jisung," I asked looking at him while we were walking on the sidewalk to the place he is gonna show me, "why can't you just tell me where we are going?"

"Because," Jisung answered trying to make me annoyed. I pouted and asked, "because?"

"Just because," Jisung answered with a smirk on his face. I glared at him with a pout and reply, "fine, you meanie."

"Look whose a baby now," Jisung reply laughing at me. I pouted even more and looked away from him. Jisung chuckled at me when he saw my pout and I whispered to myself with a pout, "I'm older than you though."

"Doesn't matter," Jisung reply with a smile on his face when he heard me whisper. I looked at him and ask with a surprised face, "how did you hear me?"

"I have good hearing, princess," Jisung answered with a smirk. I rolled my eyes at him, then smiled when he chuckled at me. Jisung looked at me as he was putting his hand out for me to hold his hand, then ask with a happy smile, "remember when we held hands in elementary school?"

I nodded with a smile and answered, "yes, but we aren't in elementary school anymore, Jisung."

He held my hand not caring what I said to him and I was surprised when he did that. I pulled away as I asked with a surprised face, "what are you doing?"

"Why can't we hold hands?" Jisung ask with a pout on his face, "we use to do that a lot as kids."

"But, we are older now," I answered with a straight face, "we aren't kids anymore."

"So?" Jisung ask with a serious face, "what if I want to keep holding on to you?"

"Fine, do whatever you want," I answered not wanting to hurt his feelings and he smiled at my answer, then held my hand. I blushed when he held my hand because it felt weird holding my best friends hand when we aren't dating or anything. We kept walking to where ever he was taking me as he was holding my hand. When we got there, my eyes went wide because the place that Jisung took me, it is a beautiful garden with a lonely tree in the middle with lights, flowers, and a bench that is in front of the lonely tree.

I looked at Jisung with a smile, then I ask, "did you put the lights on the tree?"

"Yeah," Jisung answered as he was smiling at me. I smiled even more when I looked at him, then looked at the tree in front of me again. I ask while looking at the beautiful tree with a smile on my face, "what's this for? *Looks at Jisung* Are you going to show this to someone?"

Jisung blushed at my question and nodded to answer my question. I gave him a shocked face, then I asked happily, "is it someone you like?! Who is she?"

Jisung scratched his head shyly as he walk to the wooden bench that was in front of the tree and I followed suit wanting to know more. He sat on the bench as I sat next to him with a smile on my face. I shook him by pulling and pushing him with my hand on his arm, then asked smiling, "who is it? Do I know her?"

"Well..." Jisung answered feeling shy and looked at me who was happy for him that he likes a girl. I looked at him with an anticipating face and he looked away from me feeling unsure if he should say it. I put on my pouty face when he didn't answer my question and reply, "fine, don't tell me who-"

"It's someone you know," Jisung answered cutting my off as he was looking at me. He looked like he was trying to be brave when he looked at me. I looked at him and asked with a questioning face, "is it Jihee? I mean she likes Hyunjin though, so-"

"It's you," Jisung answered as he cut off half of my sentence. I made a surprised face when he said that and then laughed it off feeling like he was joking with me, I reply laughing at him, "you are just joking."

"I'm not," Jisung answered in a serious face. I stopped smiling when I saw his face. I could tell from his face that he was serious about it. He is very serious about his confession. He really does like me. My best friend that I have known since we were kids, likes me... 

The next day, I was all dressed up and was slowly walking to the dinning room to eat breakfest with the family. As I sat down, Yoonho oppa looked at my face and asked with a concern face, "why do you have dark circles? Did you not sleep well last night?"

"It's nothing oppa," I answered not wanting to talk about it and sat down on my seat. Minhyuk oppa looked at me and asked with a concern face, "did Jisung tell you something?"

I looked at Minhyuk oppa with a surprised face and answered as I tried to not talk about it, "n-no."

"Oh, I swear it was probably something he told you about," Minhyuk oppa answered as he was eating his cereal. Yoonho oppa realized that I was with Jisung last night and asked looking at me with a curious face, "did Jisung tell you that he likes you?"

I had a shocked face and looked away since I wanted to ignore his question. Yoonho oppa and Minhyuk oppa sighed as they saw my face, then Minhyuk oppa asked, "you rejected him, didn't you?"

"I'm not hungry anymore," I reply ignoring Minhyuk oppa's question and got out of my seat, then walked out of the house with my backpack. When I got out of the house, I saw Hyunjin waiting for me as usual. I smiled when I saw him. He saw me smiling at him and he smiled back. I walked to him and reply with a smile on my face, "you didn't have to pick me up all the time."

"Well, we are friends now," Hyunjin reply smiling, "I wouldn't want someone to kidnap my beautiful friend."

"W-Whatever," I reply with a smile as I rolled my eyes, "it's morning, no one will kidnap me."

"You never know," Hyunjin reply with a smile on his face. Hyunjin noticed my eyes and asked with a concern face, "did you sleep well last night?"

"I-I'm fine," I answered with a fake smile since I didn't want to talk about it, he nodded knowing I didn't want to talk about it and we started walking to the bus side by side. When we were walking to the bus, it was silent when we were walking. It wasn't an awkward silence, it was more like a calm silence as the breeze was coming by. Even though Hyunjin was next to me, I still couldn't help about what happened last night with Jisung. Hyunjin stopped me from walking and I looked at him with a confused face, then ask, "yes?"

"Are you sure you are ok?" Hyunjin ask with a worried face, "you have been silent since we started walking and you looked a little stressed out."

I bit my lips and answered with a tired face, "I just don't want to talk about it. Maybe later when I feel a little bit better."

Hyunjin slowly nodded at me as we started walking to the bus again in silence. When we got to the bus, Jihee was there waiting for Hyunjin and I had a surprised face. I thought to myself, "is Jihee waiting for Hyunjin?"

Jihee was looking around until she looked at Hyunjin and I. She was shocked to see Hyunjin and I walking together. Jihee walked to us and silently asking us, "why are you guys walking together?"

"Jihee, we-" I was about to answer, but Hyunjin answered for me already, "we are just friends, Jihee."

Hyunjin continued as he ws looking at Jihee, "if you think we are together, we aren't."

Jihee and I looked at Hyunjin. Jihee felt a little sad that Hyunjin didn't tell her; but for me, my insides are dying from what he said. It felt like I was rejected by Hyunjin even though I didn't tell him that I like him. I can feel the pain inside of my wanting to cry from what he said. Hyunjin reply looking at Jihee, "Hyunmi and I have been friends for a while now, I didn't tell you because we aren't together anymore."

"So, you told her that we aren't together then?" Jihee ask looking at Hyunjin with a sad face. Hyunjin looked away not wanting to see Jihee's sad face and then Jihee looked at me with a sad face, "why didn't you tell me that you and Hyunjin were friends before I introduce you to Hyunjin?"

I looked at theground feeling bad and didn't want to say anything. Then, Jihee notice how silent I am and suddenly felt like she knew. She asked me with a sad and curious face, "is Hyunjin that boy in the bus that you liked?"
