Chapter 23

Hyunmis' POV.

Hyunjin and I got to Jisungs' house. Hyunjin knocked on the front door. We waited for a little bit and then Hyunjin knocked on the door again. Suddenly, the door open and it was Jisungs' omma. She smiled at me and Hyunjin. I greeted her with a smile on my face, "hi imo."

"Hi imo," Hyunjin greeted too with a smile. She greeted back with a smile, "hi, are you guys here for Jisung?"

"Yeah, we are," I answer as I was still smiling. She nod with a smile and said, "Jisung isn't here right now, he is actually at the company helping his father and he won't be back until like 8 P.M."

"O-Oh, that's ok," Hyunjin reply with a smile, "we can come over tomorrow then."

"Ok," she nod with a smile, "I'll let him know."

"Have a good night then," I said as I was smiling at Jisung's omma. She nod with a smile and close the door. Hyunjin and I start walking away from Jisungs' house, then Hyunjin started talking as we were walking on the sidewalk, "we will talk to him tomorrow."

"Yeah..." I silently reply as I was thinking about Jisung. Hyunjin stop me from walking and look at me. He smiled at me and said, "yah."

"W-What?" I ask as I was blushing when I look at him, then I look at the ground. Hyunjin smiled at me when he notice my cheeks and he ask, "want to go hang out until I take you home?"

"Where are you gonna take me?" I ask when I look at him with a curious face. Hyunjin smiled at me and answer, "you will see."

We start walking again and got to the bus stop. Hyunjin and I were the only ones by the bus stop; Hyunjin look at me and ask, "did you know that I noticed you way before we actually talked?"

"Like that one time you gave me the umbrella?" I ask with a confused face when I was looking at him. He shook his head with a smile and I ask again, "you mean like when I was late on the first day on the bus?"

"Yeah," Hyunjin answer as he was smiling when I got it right, "that time, I was still talking to Jihee."

"Were you guys dating at that time?" I ask when I look at him. He shook his head and answer, "that time was when we were still talking as friends and I guess you can say..."

"Say what?" I ask with a confused face. Hyunjin look at me and explain, "I had feelings for Jihee. Then, we confess to each other that we like each other. I thought we would be happy together, but..."

"But?" I ask again as I was feeling sorry for him. Hyunjin look at me and continued, "she broke my heart by cheating on me when we were together. I thought that I could get over her by meeting you, but you were also friends with her that I thought it meant that her and I were meant for each other since we keep seeing each other."

"What made you guys break up?" I ask with a curious face. Hyunjin look at me and smiled. I was confused with why he was smiling at me, then he said, "it's a secret."

"Fine," I reply as I was pouting at his answer, then I didn't look at Hyunjin anymore when he said that. I heard him chuckle at me and I kept pouting at him. Then, the bus came by and stopped at the bus stop that we were at. I saw the bus number and it was the bus I haven't been in a while since the incident.

"Lets get in," Hyunjin said with a smile on his face when the door open. I slowly nod at Hyunjin and went inside first since he wanted me to go first. I was about to use my bus pass, but Hyunjin took his out and said, "for 2."

I look at Hyunjin with a surprise face and said, "yah Hyunjin, I could have-"

"Lets' sit down first, before you yell at me right now," Hyunjin cut my sentence off as he was smiling at me and soflty push me to the back, but I stop him before we even sat down. I look at him with a pout on my face, then said, "yah, Hyunjin. I could have done it for mysel-wooaahhh!"

The bus started moving that I was about to fall since I didn't grab the pole or sit down, but Hyunjin was holding on to the handrails, while his other arm caught me from falling and our face was close like we can feel our breathes. We both were looking at each other for a little bit and he pulled away as I was blushing. I just sat down on the seat that was next to Hyunjin's handrail as I was acting like nothing happened at all. Hyunjin sat next to me and we both were very silent from what just happened. I bit my lips as I was still blushing and I thought to myself, "I should have just talk to him when we were going to sit down, but instead that happened..."
