IF THE STORY IS SET IN JUNE 2017 DOES THAT MEAN WE USE 2017 AGE OR PRESENT DAY AGE? +
You would use 2017 age since the story is set in 2017 and that would be considered present day in terms of the story (if you get what I mean)! For instance, Hyunjae is born in 1997 which makes him 20 years old (international age) upon the story's start.
If it gets too confusing, don't worry too much as there is a reason why I didn't include a section in the app for it! As long as you include your boy's birth year then that should be perfectly fine. After all, it isn't guaranteed when your boy will debut during the period of the pre-debut project so of course there may be slight discrepanies in terms of his age (this would go for his training period too). I'll be the one to make adjustments regarding these things when and if necessary.
DO WE THINK IN THE WAY OF TRAINEES OR IN THE WAY OF IDOL BOYS? +
I suppose it can go either way! What I suggest is that when writing your app, try to write it as though your boy has already been selected for the line-up. One way you can go about this, for instance, is by covering their experiences as a trainee up to when they are announced as the next month's boy. Since I'll be considering anything and everything (including each solo debut) as pre-debut up until the full team debut just for organisational purposes lmao.
Of course, when it comes to certain aspects such as trivia and headlines (or even relationships and love interest), that's where you can feel free to include anything and everything that follows after this trainee/selection period.
