Jungwoo woke up by the next day, catching the sight of Jaehyun— already cladded with tucked in linen shirt and jeans— sitting beside as he smiled when seeing his cousin’s eyes opened. The scent of mainly mint was refreshing, coming from the older, as Jungwoo snuggled and wrapped a flimsy arm around his solid limb.

“Hyung, where are you going?”

Jaehyun brushed Jungwoo’s messy hair as he looked onto the heavy-eyed being that still glued to his support. “Told you I’m going to the university on Tuesday.”

Jungwoo nuzzled his nose to the older’s upper hand, eyes were closed again and speaking of his hoarse-sleepy-voice. “Your first day is on September…”

“It’s something to do with the registration.”

“No, hyung… Please stay with me all day…”

Jaehyun attempted to release Jungwoo’s over-attachment, but then, the younger must be at his happening-pampered-state that he wouldn’t just let go.

“For your information Kim Jungwoo, Lucas is at the door and I don’t think you, being spoilt, is something you want to display to one and all—”

It took a second for Jungwoo shooting his head up and even his sudden switch to half-sitting position was causing his head a little giddy. He checked on his house-shirt to make sure it was not one of the nights he chose going to sleep topless. Thank God he wasn’t, and there was Lucas, standing tall at his bedroom doorframe. Looking breathtaking— as always—only with sweatpants and plain black t-shirt, which Jungwoo began to wonder if he had dozen of it for simply a week.

Jaehyun motioned Lucas to come in, when the cousin had fully awakened, to avoid any mayhem— because the clean-freak Kim Jungwoo wouldn’t just let anyone entered his bedroom— as the tallest had to take a shower, first thing in the morning, as per what Jaehyun instructed.

“Feeling better?” Lucas asked as he reached on Jungwoo’s bed.

Jungwoo blinked for a couple times, try to adjust his eyesight and focus to the latter who was down on his knees by the floor and beheld at him earnestly.

He scoffed, “When did I ever not feeling better?”

The house guest mirrored what Jungwoo had done seconds before. Frowning then he glanced at Jaehyun who took a deep breath, probably sensing the same, unfriendly tone given by his cousin.

“Oh, okay.”

Lucas stood as his eyebrows were knitting and Jaehyun noticed it when the latter left the room.

“I’m pretty sure uncle and auntie had never taught you to be this rude, and don’t you dare to say you got it from me!” Jaehyun has released the younger’s hand-lock as he lifted his body from the mattress, headed to Jungwoo’s door verge and turned around again.

“It’s ten a.m., get your off the bed to have breakfast with me and Lucas.”

“No.” Jungwoo was firm with his answer, especially at the mention of the latter’s name.

Jaehyun sighed as he saw the cousin crossing arms, sulking and seemed not wanting to abandon his pathetic sleeping quarter. No one can persuade Kim Jungwoo when he became this stubborn, and that’s why Jaehyun decided to leave him alone.

Fifteen minutes passed and there was no sign of Jaehyun returning to his bedroom. Jungwoo regretted one-third of his decision, for the reason he was actually starving for not eating dinner and asked Jaehyun to drive home after what happened at the beach. Now he was searching for his glasses on the bedside table, just for him to realize he lost it somewhere when being crushed by the savage sea. It has included on his today checklist, because he was never too fond of wearing lenses.

Jungwoo was stepping his feet to the hardwood floor when someone swung his bedroom door once more and he plopped down on the mattress as reflex.

Jaehyun came back only to take his backpack and some of his other stuff, scattering on Jungwoo’s desk after two nights of sleepover.

“I’m dropping Lucas before going to the uni… He has plans of going to Han river and Namsan after having lunch with Mark.”

“Are you talking to me?” Jungwoo responded to the older’s explanation.

In which made Jaehyun gritted his teeth, having his patience growing thin to the younger.

“I’m saying this because I want you to behave accordingly to what normal people would—”

“Are you saying that I’m not normal?”

“Kim Jungwoo!” Jaehyun’s tone got higher and it bolted Jungwoo’s will to counter. “I’m not going to be with you forever, you know?”

The younger spared him a glimpse as he crossed his arms, already for a couple times today and Jaehyun took seat on his bed’s edge.

“Just a simple ‘thanks’ to Lucas for saving you yesterday won’t hurt.”

The younger frowned. Not only for what Jaehyun asked him, but as well the one he stated previously. “What do you mean you’re not going to be with me forever?”

Jaehyun sighed to clarify, “Winnie is coming to reside here, as we plan to live together, seeing that we’re also going to the same place. I’m not going only to do something with my registration, but also to look out some places that we can rent.”

Jungwoo glared to the older as the information he acknowledged was unexpected. “So, you’re going to live further and you’re admitting that you love WinWin hyung more than me?”

The older beamed as he realized it was the main reason for Jungwoo was in deep sulking. Jaehyun ruffled Jungwoo’s hair, not caring that he was too upset to receive it.

“It’s a different thing. WinWinnie is like the other half I finally found, while you are the little brother I’ve never asked for… But, having you as my only brother is probably the best scenario—”

“Don’t butter me up. There won’t be weekends at my place after you move in with WinWin hyung.”

Jaehyun noticed amidst Jungwoo’s demanding opinion, there was a gloom he couldn’t secrete. The older squeezed Jungwoo then, although the younger attempted to refuse by the first seconds.

“All I want to say, just try to open up yourself a bit…” Jaehyun vindicated. “Lucas is not bad, isn’t he?”

Jungwoo’s frown got deeper again inside the older’s embrace. He answered what’s next with small voice that barely could catch by the other. “But, he’s here only for a week.”

“I know.” Jaehyun released the grip as Jungwoo didn’t respond. He put palms on to the younger’s cheeks and forced the pouting boy to look straight at his orbs. “But, if you don’t try… How would you know that maybe a week is enough and can be worth it?”

Jaehyun pecked Jungwoo’s forehead and dashed so quickly before then came the younger’s scream.

“Ew, Jaehyun hyung! Why did you do that?! I’m no longer five years old!”

Jungwoo was still contemplating to not or to go, to one of the places mentioned by Jaehyun afore departing with him. Yes, him equal to Lucas. If you wondered and it didn’t need Jungwoo’s prolong explanation why he should be bothered by the fact that he was now in Gangnam and it took only twenty-five minutes to go to Han River.
