Twilight

Description

In 2020, Jaehwan wakes up at dawn to find his heart in pieces as he's reminded of what used to be. He decides to give his best friend a phone call and together, they go back to the days when the eleven of them were one.

Foreword

Written for Shoes of a Unicorn, using prompt #8: "When tomorrow comes, you would have left me.".

Inspired by the fact that we'll have to go through the painful heartbreak of witnessing Wanna One's dis****ment in twelve months as well as the pain that the boys are currently in my city but I am nowhere near seeing them.

Anyways, here's 96line—a friendship from the first day of Produce 101.

Chapter 1: I like this chapter and your writing style. It's short but it's well described. Jaehwan is really a humble person and I still recall when he asked the other contestants if it was true that BoA said his name. He's also very very cute. I like how you portrayed Produce 101 as hell because that does seem very realistic. Jaehwan calls Daniel just at the right time. I wonder how the next chapter will turn out. Will it be numerous of flashbacks with Wanna One? I'd like that. It increases the emotions. Even a brief glimpse of Jaehwan reminiscing his memories with each members of Wanna One almost make me tear up.

One more thing, this chapter is posted twice. I hope you can edit it :) I look forward for the next chapter ♡

I love the foreword (although it's short, it makes me feel so sad I wanna tear up) and the fact that Daniel and Jaehwan (probably) aren't going to immediately debut after W1's disbandment increases the sadness. What if they're left in loneliness? What if their companies are stupid enough to leave them dangling because there are no enough trainees to debut a group.

These thoughts run into my mind so often that sometimes I think W1's members coping up with loneliness after the disbandment might actually happen which I do not want it to happen.

Btw, the prompt's name is already very heartbreaking similar to the foreword (I first thought this was a sci-fi before I click it bc there's "in 2020" at the start lmao) and I feel you sis. Wanna One literally hang around KL (which takes literally only 15 minutes from my house) for four days and I could only see them through my phone screen. It's saddening, yes. Only those who have feel it knows.
