Description

Life had a way with mysteries. It gave you problems to solve. Jongin didn't have much of that. But he did have one love that he lost and the reason why was the greatest mystery of all. It only opened a door to questions so much more than that. Questions in life itself.

as a person who battles with depression on a daily , my intention is not to romanticize or  belittle the thoughts of those who suffer as well.
this plot is original (at least i have not come across with anyone who has written similar content) and means a lot to me.
i see a lot of myself in these characters and having an outlet to portray these emotions and stories is a big step for me.
i hope not to disturb others.

Chapter 5: ahh this story is tugging on my heart strings... beautifully written and also a beautiful way to cope and deal with this difficult topic of suicide. i'm in awe of your writing skills and how i am able to perfectly grasp how jongin feels in his situation. seeing them both interact in "the other world" makes me more sad than happy knowing that jongin is falling deeper and deeper into a hole in his "real" life, isolating and disassociating himself from reality. but the way you worded and depicted it really hit me.. as well as the coping mechanisms you describe for jongin . it's all so realistic and really hurt me while reading.

so it's the biggest compliment for you as you can toy with my feelings like that just through your writing! thank you so much for writing this and as much as writing this makes you sad i hope it also relieves you <3 looking forward to how the plot develops and what exact role jongdae plays, things like that!

Chapter 5: Great chapter, kaisoo’s interactions are so sweet but also sad due to the circumstances. I don’t know if you have ever read Nocturna Suppressio by purpleskies but the writer also uses the concept of dreaming as a form of escape in order to meet the one they love, obviously the storyline is different but I kept thinking about it when I was reading these last two chapters. Anyways I’m interested to see how things will turn out, I have a feeling that the paper airplanes mean something. Is Kyungsoo stuck in limbo or something where he continues live like he did when he was still alive or is this some form of coping mechanism by that Jongin uses in order to deal with his grief? This story definitely leaves a lot to think about. Great job, hope your day goes well too!

I was hit with nostalgia lately and went back to read The Distance Between Us because I loved that story. It was nice to come back and see that you’re writing again. I’m sorry that you’re going through a hard time with your depression. I hope that writing continues to help you vent your feelings. I just want you to know that you’re a great writer and that you’re very good at expressing emotions through your characters and the storyline. Also, happy birthday!

Chapter 2: this is very interesting! it's dark and somber and then suddenly it's something else. i would love to see more of this!

Chapter 2: Obviously, I do not love death and suicide, but I love this concept. It's rare you find someone who can write suicide as a serious issue but still include love in there. Keep it up!
