In the Next Lifetime
Description
Lisa's days are numbered, as she makes the last of it, she comes across of that one person that made her life meaningful and worthwhile in this lifetime.
Foreword
This short AU fanfic concept is based on Lisa's picture in Everland. The idea just came from it and i just had to write it down lol. This maybe a little different from the one i posted on twitter since it has a lot of typos and errors. Forgive me if there's grammatical errors tho, English isn't my native language.
I originally posted this on twitter if you wanna check it out, here's the link: https://twitter.com/surrealityy17/status/950765148070821888
Anyway, i'm just gonna leave this here just in case someone might come across it and read it (or not) haha. That's all, thank you! :)

The First Day of Snow
When she went for a consultation the doctor said Lisa has a year, six months passed then half a year of her lifetime remains. She goes to the park where they used to have dates together. She tries to focus her vision which is getting blurry over the time on a minimalist, contemporary fountain, their favorite one, she makes her way to it as she appreciates the remaining time of her life, she stands and closes her eyes in silence and reminisces, letting the nostalgia fill in the empty silence of what was once she had.
When Lisa opened her eyes again, she focused on a figure approaching a familiar bench, apparently the one that they used to sit on, together. On a night like this, it’s funny how coincidence works its ways because the girl sitting on the far-left side of it, was the significant other who she once made memories with. She smiled at the thought until-
“Jendeukie-ah!” said an unfamiliar girl who’s probably carrying two cups of hot beverage, a perfect drink for the cold night, then the girl bent down and placed a kiss to the girl sitting on the bench. Lisa’s smile slowly faded and disappears. As if on cue, the first small droplet of ice hits her face, the second on the top of her hoodie, the third one unknowingly adjoining the droplets that came from her eyes. The next ones landing softly in her shoulders.
Then she smiles again, this time, a sad, heavy and soft one, perhaps, a farewell for good, she utters her name for the last time like maybe a hope or a prayer but Lisa knows it herself…
“Jennie..”
“Maybe in our next lifetime…”
With that, she turned her heels and walked away from who’s probably the one woman she will ever love in her remaining breaths in this lifetime.
