Chapter 1: The Hiatus Announcement

The screams of the saesang fans still resonated within the ears of the BTS members as they sat huddled together in President Bang Si-hyuk's office early that morning while their manager and President watched them with worried eyes, all of them were still in shock at the fact that a group of sasaeng fans had managed to break into their private dorms while they were at practice and then tried to kidnap them.

In a panic, the boys had ran out of their dorms and back to BigHit in order to get away from the fans. Fortunately, they all made it back to BigHit and alerted their manager, the President, and security about what was going on but they were unfortunately also slightly injured by the fans' grabbing them, resulting in bruises and scratches all over their bodies and faces. 

Since the sasaeng fans refused to leave until they came out of the building, they had to wait for the police to come and even when the police forced the sasaeng fans to leave, a few of them would manage to slip away and bang on the doors while screaming to for them and to be let into the building. The boys had stayed huddled together in the President's office overnight, refusing to leave until it was official that the last of the sasaeng fans had left. 

During the night, Manager Sejin and President Bang Si-hyuk noticed just how fatigued the members were; Yoongi looked ready to pass out at any second and was paler than normal with giant dark eyebag and bloodshot eyes, Jungkook and Jimin both looked way too thin and their eyes too dark to be normal, Seokjin and Namjoon both looked exhausted with their dark eyes and light complexion, Hoseok didn't look like he had hope left in him and looked like he was ready to pass out, Taehyung had already passed out from exhaustion and his eyes had been bloodshot like Yoongi's. 

Their physical appearance was already bad enough so who knew how bad their mental state might be at this point?

Sharing a look, Manager Sejin and the President both knew something had to be done for the boys and their heatlh. They had already achieved worldwide fame, but at the cost of their health and so, the least they could do to repay them would be to send them on a vacation for them to recuperate and get better. It didn't matter to them how much money they could potentially lose by cancelling their tours and concerts for the upcoming months if they would lose the world's most well-known boy group due to their ignorance of health issues!

Looking one more time at the boys that he had known since they were just young teens, President Bang Si-hyuk made up his mind. 

Later that day, Manager Sejin couldn't help but snort at how the members of BTS had made themselves at home in their President's office by literally sleeping in a giant pile of limbs on the floor with a few blankets here and there to cover their bodies while the President himself was working at his desk. However, he had come up to the President's office for a reason and that reason was the latest magazine article clutched in his hand.

"Bang Si-hyuk PD-nim, what is this?" Manager Sejin asked as he sat down in front of the desk, handing the article over to the President, who smiled softly and answered "I owe it to these boys, they deserve a vacation, especially one that will help them recuperate their heatlh. After the incident yesterday, I realized that they've always done their best and try their hardest for all of us and ARMY, but they haven't received anything in return. So, I decided to give them a mandatory vacation."

Manager Sejin nodded respectfully at the answer then asked "So where will you send them? Surely, you won't send them back to their homes since all ARMY know where they came from and might already know where they live?"

"No, they will be living with my friend's daughter and her friends in a private home." President Bang Si-hyuk answered, glancing over to the giant pile of limbs when he heard a snore. Manager Sejin simply chuckled as he replied "Well, the boys will certainly be in for a surprise."

He looked over at the boys then back down at the magazine article that had made him go up to the President's office in the first place.

BTS MANDATORY HIATUS

President Bang Si-hyuk of BigHit Entertainment has released an official statement earlier today to confirm that BTS is safe but injured from the group of sasaeng fans who broke into their private dorms yesterday. He has also gone on to say that due to the trauma and health issues concerning the members, the group's tours and concerts will be placed on hold until further notice as he has placed the group on a year-long mandatory hiatus. 

"These boys are like my own children and they have done nothing but make me proud. It angers me that they were injured in a place that I believed to be safe for them to live in. Now, they are traumatized . As a result of this incident and health issues, I have placed Bangtan Sonyeondan on a mandatory year-long hiatus in order for them to recuperate. I know that many of ARMY were excited to see them perform, but I do hope that you will find it in your hearts to forgive them for being unable to perform right now. Their tours are currently on hold until further notice, but know that BTS loves all of ARMY and they will do their best to stay strong in their time of need. Thank you." 

"So who is this friend of yours, President?" Manager Sejin asked, folding his hands neatly in his lap. Of course he knew that the President had many friends everywhere since he had seen them before in meetings and such, but he had no idea which friend he trusted enough to send BTS to. 

The President of BigHit Entertainment smirked as he answered "My friend, Kim Da-Bin, and his wife, Kim Nae-Yi, have a daughter who has agreed to let BTS stay with her and her friends at her private home for their mandatory hiatus. The only people who know where she lives are the friends who live with her, her parents, and now, you and the boys will know the address."

"KIm Da-Bin of DragonIndustries and Kim Nae-Yi of Lights, Camera, & Fashion Boutique have a daughter?" Manager Sejin asked incredulously, he, like everyone else in South Korea, had heard of the power couple but he never knew that they had a daughter. The President nodded, his smirk still in place "We have a contract with both companies and their daughter prefers to stay out of the spotlight, but she is the CEO of her own companies, Spotlight Beauty and AI Incorporated."

"Wow, the boys are definitely in for a treat then." Manager Sejin said with wide eyes. Both the President and the Manager whipped their heads around when they heard a yelp come from the pile of limbs. In seconds, the giant pile had become disentangled and there laid seven rudely awakened males. 

"Boys, we have something to tell you." Manager Sejin called over, snickering when the boys all whipped their heads around to look at him and the President.
