Okay, guys, this is my first fanfic so go easy on me :) And for a side note, the story alternates between the characters speaking in English and Korean, and I will indicate when that happens, but everything is written in English.

            Jemma is a Korean American that has finally come home to her mother’s country. She was minding her own business when a mishap at the airport sent her flying into the life of Key, a Kpop star.

            Being part Asian in an all-Caucasian private school back in America was hard enough. Now, when she finally gets the chance to move to a new country that could help her find a fresh start, removed from the craziness of life and the ridicule derived from her split ethnicity, she is thrown into the same pit she had started out in; but now she is getting it from one of South Korea’s most beloved idols.

            What’s worse is that she seems to be the only one that can see his true colors. And to make sure it stays that way, that very Kpop idol just won’t leave her alone.

            Through language barriers, two very strong personalities, and misunderstandings from the start, Jemma is taken on a whirlwind of a ride that she really wasn’t expecting. So much for finding peace in Korea . . .

Characters

Jemma Sam (AKA Sam Jae In) ~ This is technically you, but I like to put a name to my main characters. She is Korean on her mother’s side, and American on her father’s. She also has three older brothers, none of which are based on Kpop idols.

Key (AKA Kim Kibum) ~ In this story, Key is a part of the Kpop group SHINee just as they are in real life. He also speaks relatively fluent English for the purposes of this story.

Jay Park (Park Jaebeom) ~ Again, he is appearing as himself and as a solo artist instead of with 2pm (whom will most likely not appear in this fic – sorry 2pm fans). He will also speak very fluent English, although that is not at all a stretch since that is already true in real life.

The rest of SHINee ~ All of SHINee (Jonghyun, Taemin, Minho, Onew, and of course Key) will appear in this fiction.
