Panicking and flirting
A song about you and me
Jongin and Kyungsoo has been friends since anyone can remember. They're neighbors, schoolmates, and they have the same group of friends which makes them hangout together all the time. It's all good for them.
Expect not. There's one single problem.
Kyungsoo is madly in love with jongin and he doesn't know how to confess to him.
Whenever they're together Kyungsoo feels like heaven is smiling down at him but once he's alone in his room he starts feeling bad for himself for not confessing to the other guy and getting over with it.
"what are you even afraid of?" his friend hyungsik once said to him. What is he afraid of? Rejection maybe? or even worse, for jongin to start feeling awkward with him and stop being his friend. Kyungsoo doesn't want to lose jongin, even if it means him suffering everytime the younger smiles at him with that heartwarming smile and crescent eyesmiles, or hugs him with that tall and tanned body of his, or playfully kisses his cheek or nose when they're playing.
This last one tortures Kyungsoo to no end but Jongin had insisted that it's just for fun so he swallows his gut and stops thinking too much into it.
Kyungsoo knows he's hopeless that's why he just decided to keep his secret hidden and not tell anyone about it, except hyungsik who apparently figured it out himself, until the day he dies.
One day tho, he was watching this movie that Jongin recommended to him claiming that it's amazing and "you really should watch it Soo, it's so good and the cast is amazing" and so Kyungsoo did and thank God for that.
You see in the movie, there's this character that's in love with this other character and he couldn't tell her directly so he decided to make her tapes full of songs that reminds him of her and give her a tape every week. And the hopeless romantic Kyungsoo thought that that's the most amazing idea and he decided to try it on Jongin so that way the latter would understand how Kyungsoo feels for him.
Kyungsoo spent the rest of the day looking for good love songs that remind him of Jongin, and he found plenty. They were all good even though they weren't exactly his taste in music, but he was willing to do everything just for Jongin's sake.
After choosing 10 good ones, like what the guy in the movie did, he decided that he'd send them to Jongin but then he remembered that he doesn't have any tapes and even if he did, Jongin probably wouldn't have a tape player and his hard work would be thrown out the window.
Kyungsoo started panicking again and thinking of how hopeless he is and how he'll never get to experience having Jongin as his boyfriend and just as he was starting to roll on the floor because the image of Jongin being his boyfriend is too overwhelming, his phone started buzzing in an unstoppable way.
Speaking of the devil, Kyungsoo snorted and picked up his phone to see what Jongin has texted him.
