“Hyung!” A little boy around age 7 cried, clinging unto his hyung’s shirt who’s around the same age as him, but actually 5 months older. “Don't leave please.”

“Shhh. Nyoungie don't cry. Hyung will come back and marry you when we grow up.”

The boy- nyoungie, sniffles. Looking up through his wet lashes while wiping his eyes with his fist.

“You promise?”

“I promise, Jinyoung.”

His so-called hyung flashes him a sad smile yet concealed with a bright one as he ruffled Jinyoung’s hair lovingly. He leans in to place a soft kiss on his chubby cheeks which miraculously made Jinyoung stop his cries, lips pushing into a pout.

“Now, the promise is sealed. You can never forget about it.” Jinyoung, bashfully said through small sniffles still wiping his wet cheeks with his palms now.

The older smiled widely now, pulling the younger into a tight hug. “I won't. Just wait for me nyoung.”

“I wi-”

“Yien!”

A feminine voice not far from them, shouted. “You know the plane won't wait for us. We better get going.” she added.

Yien spares a quick glance behind him were her mother and father stands just beside the cab they’ll be riding towards the airport. “Okay mom!” He shouted desperately before turning his attention back to jinyoung. Now, with a sad smile adorning his face.

“Nyoung. Take care of yourself okay. And tell your mom i'm gonna miss her. Especially you.”

Jinyoung nodded, his tears escaping once again from his eyes as he watched the other’s retreating figure.

“Mark hyung, I’ll hold onto your promise.”

He whispered to himself, not holding the sob that came out of his lips anymore.
