Prison Cell.
Weeping MonstersI knew I was running faster than their legs, and I knew it was a good thing, but they were too many. I could smell each and every one of their distinctive scents as them and I weaved through the large trees, seeing nothing but a wisp of blurry greens and blacks. The speed we were going through was inhumane, and at this point, I didn't care.
While male werewolves were large in size, females, according to me, as I’m the only one available to tell; were faster, more agile, and extremely flexible in their human form. It was an advantage against the herd of angry, bristling wolves behind me.
My legs continued to push forward in all of their might, and I was glad they weren't on pars with my father’s fast steps, because then I’d have been caught and caged already. My hair whipped around me, blocking my vision every now and then, but my sense of smell was strong enough to distinguish directions and what's to avoid.
I could smell one of my delicious mates surging through the forest and breaking between trees, and although I had the urge to look backwards to see how he would look running, the image of him flirting with that human girl burned me from within.
A growl rippled through the trees, followed by other ones. Shivers of fear sprung up in my body because those were definitely for me to hear. I suppose they already figured out my speed was too much for a normal human to uphold, and my scent was too strong and familiar to pass by as a human. I knew they already figured out I was a werewolf, and a girl werewolf, for that. What I didn't know, what exactly would they do to me if they caught me? It didn't matter if their Alpha is a mate of mine, because they didn't know what a mate bond means, and there was a huge precent of him, or the other one, rejecting me. They’d have to share, unless they truly wanted me, and I don't think that's an okay concept for two werewolves who are considered really possessive creatures. It was a huge NO for me to let them catch me, so I didn't, and continued forcing my legs to accelerate.
There was a strong sense of heat coming from behind me all of a sudden, and I instinctively tilted my head to the side to avoid whatever it was. A ball of intensely lit up light flashed by my side, zapping past my cheek and flooding it with warmth, before zeroing on to the forest up ahead.
One of them could use an element.
Using elements is such a rare attribute that only little wolves could acquire. Those who have powers are immediately proclaimed Petas, the second in command right after an Alpha, and that was if they weren't already Aphas themselves. The ability to attain an element of nature comes over to strong wolves, mostly Alphas or those of the same descend. Sometimes it hits normal wolves, who show trait of masculinity and strength, which automatically makes them either future Alphas, or Petas.
The idea they had someone this strong in their pack worried me, and in a sudden realization, fear flooded me in waves, and I unconsciously slowed down a little.
In that very small millisecond of weakness, the wolves were able to catch up to me and I was tackled down to the ground so roughly; I could feel my face grinding down on the ground before coming to a halt.
I groaned at both my pulsing face, pressed so harshly against the dirty ground of the forest until it was starting to numb; and at the huge body weight sitting down on my back.
“Got you, little wolf.” I heard a gruff voice say – it was extremely low-pitched. Extremely attractive – and I realized it was a giant weight over my body. I let out a throaty growl, and started to around his grip, letting out a string of animal-like noises that voiced out my complete annoyance and fear.
The boy got off of me with a scoff I could really easily hear, but before I could take the chance to tackle him down like how I was taught to take over my opponents; he twirled me around on my back and smacked me right back on the ground. The breath was knocked out of my lungs and I gasped so hard. I felt my lungs getting ripped into twos and my back bones shattering into tiny pieces. Tears strung into my eyes at the pain flashing by through my body, and my vision blurred before I could take a glance at the boy straddling my stomach.
“, Yeol, I think you broke her bones,” I heard the melodious strings of a bell like voice speak, followed by soft thuds of feet getting closer to me. I knew my mate was getting closer to me, and my body ached for him right away. I found myself whimpering at him, closing my eyes and trying to crawl over to him for comfort. The mere presence of him so close to me brought a surge of joy and warmth, snapping me out of the pathetic state I was in. But the giant body over me rendered me motionless, and I couldn't even move my head closer as my back let out a scream of protest. I whimpered again, tears falling down my cheeks.
“Hey, you, up here.” the boy over me clicked his fingers over my face, wanting to catch my attention. I growled threateningly at him, not trying to wiggle around again or open my eyes, but I could tell my growl made him tense.
“I think it's really what we think it is.” Another voice I couldn't decipher said, but the male seemed young and innocent. I opened my eyes to confirm, and the head peering down at me upside down flinched, his eyes widening. He smelt exactly how a wolf should smell, along with the boy over me, a gross smell I didn't enjoy very much. His hair was black as the night sky and his eyes were dull brown, but they were twinkling in child-like innocence just like I predicted. His skin was darker in tone, different than his pack mate apparently, and he looked to be in high school.
I snapped my eyes to the yummy smelling guy once I heard his footsteps approaching, and once my eyes fell on his, I felt like the earth stopped spinning. It wasn't like this was the first time seeing him, but it was the first time we were locking our eyes together. His eyes were dark brown and although it was such a dull color, it sizzled each of the dying flames within me and brought them back to life. A huge surge of foreign emotions invaded me to the core of my body, zapping all the way to the tips of my toes, before knocking my breath out of my lungs. I was so absorbed with the feelings that they snapped like a string of rubber when the guy looked away, rubbing his eyes as if he had seen something strange. My heart palpitated.
“You’re a wolf, aren't you? A girl wolf.” The guy straddling my stomach conversationally said, shooting me a look. I growled at him.
“Get off of me.” I told him with a harsh glare, my heart still jerking up and down violently at the intense eye-locking my mate and I had gone through just now.
“Now, why would I do tha—Ooof!” He was roughly pushed away from me with a harsh push from my mate, and he went tumbling down in a heap of tall limps and awkward body position.
I quickly gathered myself, whimpering once my back ached and ending up lying back down. Tears kept falling down my eyes and I eyed the sky over me almost evilly. If there has been a moon-goddess, then why wasn't she taking care of me? Her only daughter?
“Yeol, Suho will kill you once he knows our newly caught spy have a broken back.” My mate casually poked this ‘Yeol’s back with h
