"What the---" The shock showed clearly on Kangin's face.

"Why isn't this cheeky kid scared of me?" The thought flitted through his mind.

But inside he felt a joy. One small flicker of happiness burned in his heart. It was the longest time any human being talked to him without any shown resentment. Kangin sighed.

Henry stared intently at Kangin, with a smile on his face that was contagious. Kangin stared away to avoid smiling to himself. 

"Alright, whatever. I don't care." Kangin murmured.

Little Henry gave a whoop of joy and Kangin couldn't stifle his laugh, which earned him a hug.

"Oof! liimmii gii!" Kangin said, his sounds muffled.

The next day, Henry clung to him like a bee to honey.

Kangin never needed to tease anyone; Henry would chatter away like a bird. He had all his social needs fufilled.

Sungmin even found the courage to come up to him. "H-hi.."

"Hi!" Henry bounced around him. Sungmin smiled.

"Hi.." Kangin muttered but loud enough for Kyuhyun to hear.

Kyuhyun came over and dragged Sungmin away protectively.

Henry pouted.
