Joy folds the rompers and places them in the drawers, "All done!" She looks at Deiji and smiles. The baby returns her smile, "Some one is always in a good mood..." She picks her up from her cot and the baby lets out a happy squeak.

"Did you miss mommy?" She kisses her face and inhales in her baby scent. She was away for some class where she could not take Deiji with her. 

"Owww...eeee..." She babbles, snuggling close to her.

"Yes, you did!! God!! Can you believe you almost five months old!! Yeah?" She bounces her slightly.

"Wooohhh..." She looks at her with round eyes. As if she understands and is really surprised at the information.

"Yesss...Oh! You are growing up so fast..." She sighs slightly and pecks on her nose, making her squeal again, " Mommy is growing up with you..." She hugs her close, "Now let us have milk..." She tells her expectantly and like always Deiji gets excited at the mention of meal.

"So happy for food..."

She looks at the door to find Namjoon standing, "Hey..."

"Hi." He walks towards them and Deiji grins happily looking at her father, "Hello, Ms. Kim..."

Deiji makes a girgling sound and Joy laughs, "You are not going to call her ahjusshi anymore?" She sits on the bed, ready to feed the baby, "You've stopped calling her that for days now!!"

Namjoon shrugs, "Yeah, well...I used to call her that cuz she looked like one! Wrinkly, reddish, small...now she is too cute to be called that, though she is still hairless and toothless." He looks at the feeding baby lovingly.

"I would miss the name to be honest..." Joy laughs.

"Hmmm..." He nods and sits on one side of the bed.

They sit there in a comforatable silence for sometime when Noel enters witth a worried face. She went to the Kim Mansion.

"Is Dr. Tan there?" Namjoon asks immediately.

"Yes...they are arguing." Noel sighs.

"What is it?" Joy looks at them.

Namjoon told Noel about his meeting with Seokjin and Irene's psychiatrist the first thing in the morning. Joy was busy preparing for the sudden class on that day though it was weekend. So they thought to cause her any unnecessary worry. Besides, they can do nothing.

"Actually..." Namjoon sighs and reveals the details of last evening's conversations. He also tells her about what he and Irene have talked about.

After listening to everything, Joy brings Deiji close to herself sub-consciously, "Is she getting...dangerous? Why wouldn't she help herself? Why skipping meds and sessions?" There are worry and fear in her voice.

"Her weird behaviour around Deiji and her word exchange with Namjoon can be understood. She is not over him. So she is behaving like this. But why she is not taking her meds or treatment....that is I also cannot understand!!" Noel says sadly. She was with her since her Irene's early childhood. She dislikes and disagrees what she is doing or how she has turned out as an adult but she is still very fond of her 'young mistress'. 

"I think...all this is her way to show how depressed and hopeless she is in her life. One treats themselves or tries to stay physically and mentally healthy cuz one wants to. One has to have some reasons to live and these work as a driving force. Ren...she has lost her driving force. She wants to live. She is no way suicidal. I know her. But she does not have that reason to live...I know how she feels. Cuz for a long time she has been that force for me..."

They stay lost in their thoughts when Namjoon's phone begins to ring.

"Hello?" he answers.

"Hello? Are you all at home?" Seokjin asks quickly.

Namjoon frowns slightly, "Kim Seokjin?" He has not checked the caller ID, "Yes. We are..."

"Okay then. So if Irene visists you, you all would be together..." He says a bit relieved.

"Why? How did your conversation go?" He asks.

"Just as we were expecting. She got agitated seeing Dr. Tan. And when he asked why she missed her appointments, she began to accuse him that his treatment was not helping her. So when we asked her why she did not say anything, she claimed she does not need any help anymore. She is perfectly allright. So she stopped taking her meds as well. We did not reveal to her that I or you knew about anything. Then I tried to reason with her but she started arguing about letting her live her life her way and walked out of  house... She was furious." He is very worried, "Anyway, I am in my car now. Dr. Tan had left and I am looking for her now. Don't worry, I'll find her. Just stay normal if you meet her." Seokjin disconnects the call.

"But?! Hello? How can we not worrry?! What?!" He looks at his phone angrily.

Noel nudges him, "What happened?"

He replies, "They argued. She claimed the treatment was not suitable so she stopped it altogether. Now she has gone somewhere. Kim Seokjin is looking for her. Asked us not to do anything and be normal if we meet her..." He pinches the bridge of his nose, "I can't sit and act all is fine when she is out there in such distress!! I am also going to look for her. I don't care if she will get to know that I know!! I don't care if she harms me!!"

He is about to leave the room when Joy stops him, "Namjoon, wait!!"

He looks at her.

She quickly gets down from the bed, "Aera is not at home!! Unnie had heard from me yesterday!!! " She is panicking.  

Namjoon remembers now. Aera has gone to her friend's house on a play date and they leave quite afar, "I'll get her home right now!!"

"I am coming with you!!" Joy quickly takes her purse and diaper bag.

"What?! I am not taking you and Deiji!!" He refuses.

"Trust me on this please!!" She pushes him out of the room and they leave without listening to Noel calling them.

"Thank you Mrs. Lee...I'll take Aera now..." Irene smiles and puts the teacup on the table.

"Sure! Such a polite girl she is!! Mrs. Joy is an amazing mother figure!!" She gushes over the little girl.

"Thenk you, aunty..." Aera bows politely.

Irene tries to control her temper at the mention of Joy.  Joy, Joy, Joy, Joy!! She is everywhere!! Everyone is talking about her!!! Even her Namy is always praising and taking her side!!

"Okay, so say goodbye now. We'll leave..." She clears her voice and takes her hand.

They say their goodbyes and are walking downstairs to the parking lot.

"Aunty Renny!! Jooyyy not say you are gettin me home! Did ye talk to her? Is it a sup-rise??" Aera asks as they are nearing her car.

Irene stops suddenly and squeezes her little hand hard.

"Owhh...Aunty!! That hults!!" Aera whines.

She brings the little girl infront of her and grabs her tiny shoulders tightly. The little girl cries.

She lifts her up to her face while keeping her grip on her shoulders, "Always Joy! Always Joy!! Joy, this!! Joy, that!! Joy!! Joy!! JOY!!! NEVER EVER DARE TO SPEAK ABOUT HER INFRONT OF ME!! DO YOU GET THAT?! BLOODY INSOLENT BRAT!!!"  

Frightened and in pain, she nods. She is shaking. 

"Good!" She smiles as if nothing happened just now, "Let us go and have a lot of fun!!!" She places her on the ground and begins to drag her to her car, "Don't worry about them!! They wouldn't bother!! They have their own baby to care for!!" She is about to put her inside the car when a car enters the parking lot. It stops infront of hers.

"Oh! Hello, unnie! I did not know you would picking her up!" Joy smiles as she gets out of the car.

Namjoon gets out as well and keeps his usual stoic expressions. On the way, they have decided to keep the act of keeping everything casual and pretend they have no idea.

"Yes...well...I thought...I thought we could go out and have some fun..." Irene tries to keep herself normal but is failing.

Joy pretends not to notice, "Oh! We thought of taking Aera to the summer festival of the city!! She has never been there. It is weekend and we had time so..." She points at Namjoon and then looks at Aera.

Irene observes them. They are dressed lightly to suite the weather. There is Deiji sleeping in the backseat and she can see even her bag. Namjoon and Joy both look relaxed. They must not have known which is 100% possible as Seokjin would never reveal or discuss anything like this with them...

"But I thought..." Before she can say anything, Aera darts out of her car and runs towards Namjoon. She hugs his leg tightly.

"I think Aera will like to go for the outing...Sorry unnie..." Joy looks at her apologetically.

"It's...It's okay..." Irene laughs out awkwardly.

"Great! See you soon, unnie! Bye!!" She smiles and gets into the car. Namjoon slowly takes the scared little girl and puts her inside.

Namjoon and Joy can clearly understand something has happened and they had seen Aera's frightened face when they entered the lot. Joy hides her panic and worry behind her smile and Namjoon hides his anger and worry behind his expressionless face. He drives for sometimes and they stop at a nearby cafe. They get down and join the two girls in the back. Joy softly asks Aera what had happened. She cries and tells them everything. The little girl is completely afraid of her aunt now.

"I not wanna go with Aunty Renny anymo'!! She is bad like appa!! She say bad things and hult me!! She say bad ab'out Jooyyy!!" She weeps in Joy's arms. The young woman looks up at him with tearful eyes. She tries to console Aera explaining that they would never ever leave her. 

"Hush, now, Baby...You know how much I and your Namjoon uncle love you!! You know how much your Baby-ah loves you!! How can we ever forget you!? We're a family!! Remember that always!! We all love you so much!! Your aunty is not saying a bit of truth!! You know that!!" She kisses all over her face and hugs her tightly. 

After quite sometimes Aera has silenced. She is still cuddling with Joy and holding Deiji's hand who has woken up from all the sounds. She has not cried but can understand the sadness inside the car.

"Let us go to the fair now!!" Namjoon kisses Aera's cheek who seems to like the idea.

They drive off to the destination and begins to enjoy themselves. Joy, Aera and Deiji look around the different stalls and buy different products. Namjoon observes them closely and straightens in his shoulder in determination. He takes out his phone and calls someone.

"Hello? Advocate Min?" 

"Yes, Mr. Kim. How can I help you?"

"I would like you to get some legal procedures done."

"Sure, sir. What is this about? Is everything allright?"

"We would like to adopt Bae Aera as our own. And for that whatever legal processes are required, please go through them."

"Okay, Mr. Kim. But What about her aunt Bea Irene? I mean she is her legal guardian in her father's absence. Will she agree?"

" If she doesn't, we will do it in the hard way. I want complete guardianship of the child." Namjoon states sternly.
