Namjoon quickly enters and finds a distraught Aera on the porch. The maid is trying to console her but failing. She looks up and runs to hug him.

"Unkeel! Joy is hurt! Baby-ah!" She shudders and weeps.

Namjoon caresses the sad child clinging to his knees and sighs loudly, in distress.

"How this happened?" He asks the maid stiffly.

The maid sniffs, "Sir...we woke up to Mrs. Noel and Ms. Yeri yelling. Mrs. Joy...she went to the bathroom and fell...well, she did not have any impact with the floor. She got hold of the tub but due to the jolt...her water broke..." She looks down.

Namjoon closes his eyes tightly. He picks the tiny girl in his arm, "Aera...I am going to the hospital now."

She circles her arms around his neck, "I want to go...I wanna go with you..." She keeps on crying.

Namjoon wipes her tears, "Not now...but soon when..." He clears his throat, "Baby will be here...for now, only us elders...okay?" He kisses her cheek, "If you cry like this then don't you know your Jooy and...Baby-ah will be sad. Do you want that? Hmm?" 

Aera lowers her head and pouts. She shakes her head slowly.

"Then? You stay here and....pray for them." His voice shakes unconsciously.

"Yesh! I pray for Jooyy and Baby-ah! They be okay then." She gets down his arms and sits on the sofa with her hands folded. The sincerity on the child's face makes his lips curve upward slightly.

He goes to his room and gets his car keys. After planting a kiss on Aera's forehead, he drives off to the hospital.

"Don't worry Noel, Joy and her baby will be all right..." Cheonsa places her hand on hers.

"I mean we all were so careful for the last few weeks!! I...we prepared the hospital bag, making sure she is never alone or stressed...Then this?!" She sighs and covers her face with her hands.

"Some things happen no matter how diligent one is...These things are out of one's control...So now stop blaming yourselves..." Cheonsa sighs and hugs Yeri who has been blaming herself, along with Noel.

"It was all okay...We were just talking about her and Namjoon-sshi and then I left to get her some snacks from the kitchen...When she got up and went to the bathroom, I'd no idea..." She wipes her tears.

"Oh darling!! But you found her in time!!" She consoles her. Noel also nods in agreement.

"I just want them to be safe..." She looks down.

"They will be...have faith..." Cheonsa nudges her.

"Mr. Kim...Mrs. Joy is taken on the 1st floor...She has been admitted sometimes back...in the VIP cabin..." The receptionist informs.

Namjoon stands still. The same hospital, the same corridors, the same cabin...

He climbs up the stairs. Everything feels like a deja vu...He was here almost six months back...for his Ren...

His head is spinning and chest is tightening. It seems like a panic attack...

He can see the ladies and Park Jimin waiting outside the room. They look worried, especially Noel...

"I am scared...First Mistress Irene...now Joy...I..." She stops when Cheonsa grabs her hand. She turns her head to see where she is looking.

Cheonsa frowns and avoids looking at him.

The rest three are happy to see him there. Noel stands and smiles slightly in relief and gratitude. She puts her hand on his shoulder, "Namjoon...thank you..." She decides to update him,"Joy is having contractions but the birth has not started...It may take..." A cry gains their attention.

The nurse comes out of the cabin and informs, "It is time now..."

"I want to be there!! Please!!" Noel requests.

"Ummm...where's her husband?" She inquires.

Everyone looks at Namjoon.

He chokes out, "I...."

They all are shocked except the nurse. Because she does not know that it is the first time he has, sort of, acknowledged their relationship.

"Oh! That is good!! The patient asked for you..." She opens the door and waits for him to enter.

He looks shocked and confused at the same time. He walks into the room to find Park Sooyoung writhing in pain. She is sweating and pale like paper.

The doctor turns her head towards him, "Oh! You must be Mr. Kim...Please get into the hospital gown..."

One of the nurses hands him the material. They do not find his numbness or silence weird. Such baby jitters are most common in new parents...

Namjoon puts it on. His mind is absolutely blank and his body is on auto-pilot. He has no idea why he is even in the room?!

He just stands there.

The doctor is sitting at Joy's legs and checking in the progress. The young mother does not seem to have any idea about anything.

"Mr. Kim? Please go to her..." The nurse points out when he has not moved an inch towards Joy.

"NAMJOON!!!" Joy yells out.

Namjoon snaps out of his daze and gets aware of his surrounding. His breathe hitches at the sight infront of him.

Park Sooyoung is yelling in agony and calling out his name. Her legs are spread wide and her doctor is inspecting the situation. Dr. Song...yes that is her name...

"Okay...okay Joy...push!! Come on now...Push!!Yes...That is it...I can see THE HEAD...." She says.

Namjoon is hyperventilating. He is no more asked to join his family. His reaction is quite natural cause they have seen new fathers fainting...They take it as his way to cope. 

"Yes, Joy!! Yes...You can do this...Just a little more...That is it..." She asks a nurse to check the vitals and monitors.

Namjoon blinks and stares at Joy's face. Tears are flowing and she is heaving. These continue...It has been hours now. 

Then Joy screeches out one last time and the room is filled with a cry...a baby's cry...

Dr. Song smiles and picks the baby up.

Namjoon can see the tiny body, covered in blood and gunk. He gulps. Everything is so surreal about this...

"Congratulations Joy and Mr. Kim!!! It is a GIRL!!!" She quickly cleans her with a towel. She is placed on Joy's chest.

Joy's now crying but in happiness. She just cannot believe it!! Her wait is over...Her baby girl is here...She has a daughter now...They have a daughter now...Which reminds her, didn't Dr. Song just congratulate Mr. Kim as well?!

She looks around and finds Namjoon frozen at one corner of the room. His face is blank.

She smiles slightly and sobs. She cannot believe he is here!!! Did he come to the hospital when he heard she was in labour?! Did he get inside when she was calling him during labour?! 

One nurse helps her to feed and another nurse and the doctor takes care of her after-birth. Once all settle down, the baby is taken away to be cleaned and Joy sighs in contentment.

Dr. Song has some idea that things are not so "normal" between the couple. She walks towards him and smiles, "Mr. Kim, congratulations. Joy and the baby, both are fine. Luckily, she did not fall on the hard surface. But the experience frightened them and her water broke. But it was an easy and successful birth!! Anyway, You should go out and share this great news!!!"

Namjoon takes off the safety attire and wobbles out. What just happened?! 

As soon as he gets out, they gather around him.

"Namjoon!!! We heard the cry!! Are they alright?!" Noel asks urgently.

"Hmmm..." He confirms. They all become relieved and thankful.

"Is it a boy or a girl?!" Yeri asks with excitement.

"Huh?!Ga-girl..." He mumbles.

Yeri squeals and the ladies wipes their tears in happiness. Jimin relaxes and thanks God.

Namjoon walks away from the elated group who are eagerly waiting to meet the mother and child. He is deaf to the enthusiastic sounds they are making. He sits on the same place where he had been hiding the last time he was here...for Irene...

He begins to contemplate what had happened in the last few hours...

At first, he got a call from his Ren...after almost 5 years...

She wanted to meet him... 

She wanted to celebrate his birthday like their old times...

He went to meet her...

But did not!! He was so close...it would have been the beginning of their future...together...

Instead he got a call informing about Park Sooyoung...

He came here LEAVING HIS REN...

Then...then witnessed the whole child-birth...

He looks at his hands and begins to laugh hysterically. He cannot believe his ludicrousness!! 

His laughter gradually changes into tears. He weeps in his hands. After a long time, he relaxes. He checks the watch and see it's almost 4 a.m. in the morning. He sighs.  

He gets up from the floor, cracking his joints. He suddenly realizes something.

They share the same birthday...
