welcome to yong island
dive into a world of grit

yong-do. a tiny island, just big enough to hold a large city the size of, say, new york. it's laying under south-korea with an considerable distance. its longitude and latitude made it perfect for many seafarers from china, japan and korea. however they weren't just seafarers, but pirates, smugglers and worse. smugglers often used it to bring illegal products in either china, japan or korea without being noticed by the government, whereas pirates used it as a hiding place, far away from the navy.
yong-do has a long history with crime and this story isn't the first and the last either...

currently it is a long faded vacation paradise, its banners still hanging in the city, yellow and paled from the sun saying "WELCOME TO YONG ISLAND" in english and underneath saying, in subletters "your personal paradise". held in the hand of the chinese and japanese mafia, crime runs rampant, and the police barely can hold it in check. a violence versus violence culture hangs in the city and both sides are equally as guilty. but that was not the reason why yong-do lost it popularity as a vacation paradise.
it was the year 2001. the first victim was a young girl and her older brother, children to a couple with money. they were simply on a vacation, in a rather expensive hotel. the two children disappeared after two days. exactly three days later, they were found. dead. grotesquely, disgustingly, they were found back. bones were broken, limbs intertwined and faces contorted into sickening grins, cut open with knives. the outstanding thing however was that they wore party-hats.
it was only the beginning of a nightmare.

following the crime, more grisly than any other serial killings in yong islands history, six people in the police force try to uncover the culprit, but instead face their darkest memories, actions and choices.

can you rely on your teammates and uncover the truth...?

Chapter 1: Definitely applying for this story. :)
I'm even working on my app now. ^^
I just have a few questions:
What do you mean by nickname at the top? (I noticed on Jisoo's it isn't like a usual nickname?)
For Brilliance, do I create a character who saved him / her?
And will Grotesque's app be up soon? :3
Please and thank you. :D

Aww, both authors are Random__! Did that happen randomly, or...? ;)

Jokes aside, this whole concept is fascinating, and I can't wait to meet your lovely characters. You two have built quite an awesome sandbox with so many mind-bending toys. (I love so many of the things on that inspirations list; pardon me while I drown in nostalgia and aesthetic.)

Yup, definitely reading even if my character doesn't make the cut. :D
