It was the day before our contest, I remember seating in front of you with the rest of our org-mates.

"Are you together?" One of the youngest writers said, you only laughed and asked me if we're together. I only cussed you and continued reading my papers so I could be prepared for tomorrow.

"Girls with dental braces are such a turn on." One of them said, the same person asked you if it really is and you laughrd again and nodded your head.

"Braces with intelligence." You said.

"Oh, you like her then." One of them said and pointed at me, you laughed again.

I was baffled and I could not talk. I remember you're teasing me that you will show them the screenshot of our messages last summer and I was angry at you for insisting on showing it.

Once again, people thought we were together but little did they know, we were- as friends, as each other's shoulder to cry on and as each other's comfort but never each other's romantically.
