The whole cast and crew were now hiking up the jungle. The first mission was rock climbing and Sean was already getting ready for his mission.

“Fighting oppa!” Jisoo cheered.

“You can do it hyung! The peak is only about 20 feet high.”Jongkook encouraged.

Sean was already at the bottom of the climb and started to climb it. His companions were at the bottom, cheering and shouting some encouraging words for him.Jongkook and Sungwoo were at the base of the rock, watching out for Sean while the others were standing not so far them.Jungkook could see Jisoo in the corner of his eyes. She was obviously terrified for her senior. She kept on clutching her hands while muttering all kinds of prayers. Jungkook smiled by the view of her being so nervous.

“Oppa!” Jisoo shrieked and Jungkook’s gaze was interrupted when Jisoo caught his wrist in fright. Jungkook only then realized that Sean almost slipped his right foot from the rock.

Sean quickly recovered and continued to climb. Jungkook let out a sigh of relief after knowing that Sean would be okay since he has a safety harness around him. But what made Jungkook nervous all over again was the fact that Jisoo was still clutching his wrist. He could feel her hands trembling so he quickly scanned his surroundings and after knowing that most of the cameras were focused on Sean, he freed his hand from Jisoo’s grip and took her hand again, clutching it with his own hand, squeezing it at the same time. Jisoo stiffened but soon relaxed. They both didn’t dare to look at each other and instead, they continued to stare at the person climbing the rocks.

“Yes! You did it, hyung!” Soohyuk cheered when Sean finally reached the peak.

“I got a backpack!” Sean shouted from above them, showing the prize towards them.

“Yes!” Jisoo took her hand from Jungkook to clap in happiness. “Oppa did it!” Jisoo cheered, looking back at Jungkook who was also grinning for the mission’s success.

Eunhyuk who was beside them took Jungkook’s hands and pulled him into a victory chant and Jungkook took his opportunity to drag Jisoo with him and even Jongkook, Soohyuk and Sungwoo joined them. They were circling hand in hand while cheering and Jungkook couldn’t help but be conscious about his left hand which was holding Jisoo’s.

After the first mission, the group decided to head for their mission which was canyoning. Soohyuk needed to jump off from a cliff into the water from below.

“You can do it, Soohyuk-ah!” Eunhyuk cheered.

“Fighting!”Soohyuk shouted from above the cliff. They were now currently at the falls which was the location for the second mission.

“Seriously, what’s with the missions?” Jungkook heard Jisoo whined. “So far, all the missions have something to do with heights and I’m really not good with heights.” Jisoo added, looking very worried.

“You’re afraid of heights?” Jungkook asked and Jisoo only looked at him, pouting. “Don’t worry noona, I’m sure nothing bad will happen to you.” Jungkook assured and Jisoo just smiled to him. “I’ll make sure of it.” The last words came out from Jungkook were just a whisper that Jisoo probably didn’t hear.

Soohyuk jumped off the cliff successfully and the cast cheered once again. After their two missions, they decided to take a break to have lunch. They decided to go by pair to find them something to eat. Sean went together with Jisoo. Jungkook was with Jongkook while Soohyuk went out with Eunhyuk.Sungwoo as usual was left to prepare the camping site.

Jungkook and Jongkook went towards the upper part of the forest to find some fruits. They saw some dragon fruit and decided to pick them. The cameraman was with them the whole time and continued to film them even though there’s nothing very interesting that was going on with them. When the camera man noticed their inactive progress, he told them that he needed a bathroom break and left them.

“So, what’s with you and Jisoo?” Jongkook asked out of nowhere, making Jungkook flinched and almost stumbled down from the slope.

“What’s with the question hyung?” Jungkook was looking frantic and tried to hide his red face from the older. “There’s nothing going on between me and Jisoo-ssi.” He added.

“Come on! I saw you two holding each other’s hands earlier.” Jongkookteased and he noticed that Jungkook’s face was painted with panic. “You know, you two look good together.”Jongkook commented making the maknae stared at him in hope.

“I don’t know hyung. I..”Jungkook was lost for words but Jongkook was just staring at him intently, waiting for the younger to open up. “It’s not that I like her—” Jungkook suddenly pursed his lips and stared back at Jongkook who was as surprised as he was.

“You like Jisoo?” Jongkook whispered.

“I.. I don’t know hyung. Maybe?” Jungkook’s voice sounded frustrated.

“Yah! You really should think about it. This is serious, Jungkook-ah.” Jongkook reasoned. “If I remember correctly, Jisoo-ssi is still considered a rookie and she isn’t allowed to date, right?”

Jungkook was dumbfounded. It didn’t crossed his mind that he had something special for Jisoo but his feelings got hurt realizing that any possible relationship between them would not be possible, considering Jisoo’s circumstances. He mentally cursed his self but he couldn’t help but be attracted towards Jisoo even though it has been only a few days since they had met.

“I know hyung.”Jungkook replied shortly, still feeling down.

“It’s ok, Jungkook-ah. Everything’s going to be fine.” Jongkook patted the younger’s back in comfort.

The two of them immediately turned back to picking up fruits when the cameraman arrived. After picking quite enough of the dragon fruits, they decided to head back. When they arrived, they noticed that everyone else was already there and were helping Sungwoo in preparing the food. Eunhyuk and Soohyuk managed to catch a bunch of fish from a nearby stream while Sean and Jisoo brought them different kinds of vegetables too.

“You’re here!” Eunhyuk spotted them. “Look! We caught some fish!” He bragged.

“Good timing.” Sungwoo then turned to them. “Jongkook-ah, will you help in preparing the fish with Eunhyuk? Soohyuk’s cleaning the fish while Sean’s helping me cook.” Sungwoo stated.

“Of course, hyung.” And Jongkook immediately went to help.

“Jungkook-ah, will you and Jisoo wash the vegetables?” Sean asked and Jungkook happily obliged.

Jungkook and Jisoo were on their way to the nearest stream for their task. A camera was following the twofrom behind. Jisoo was walking ahead while Jungkook was just a step from behind. The way towards the stream was rocky and Jungkook noticed that Jisoo was having trouble in balancing herself. Jungkook tried his self not to reach out for her hand but when he saw Jisoo slipping her feet from a mossy rock, he quickly caught her arms from behind to steady her.

“Are you okay, noona?” Jungkook heaved a worried sigh and stared at her.

“I’m okay.” Jisoo answered and then giggled after thinking that she almost fell face first. “Thanks, Jungkook-ah.” Jisoo smiled back at him which only made caught his breath in a hitch.
