The dinner was uneventful but cooking was. I felt like boulders were removed from me. I feel a new aura, a new feeling when I walk or when I talk. It all feels so light, like all the anxiety and thinking of what words I should say or what way I should act. I feel fresh and rejuvenated, like I was brand new. They are complete opposites; Rose was like water to my body, oh and Jennie? She’s fire.

Rose cools me up and gives me a breath from loads of problems while Jennie heats my body up. She drowns me in a pool of wires where I can feel that every touch and every word electrocutes me. Rose dulls my senses, Jennie awakens them.

“The wounds are getting better, Lisa”, Jennie cooed.

I can feel new and warm bandages being glued to my skin and hands, her hands. I can feel her warm soothing fingers as she tapped the bandages to secure them in place. I can feel electricity in her slightest touch. I can myself falling for her so hard.

“There”, Jennie finished.

I turned around to a smiling Jennie and I couldn’t help but stare at the perfection of her face. She was just too perfect with her lips and eyes and nose and everything. Jennie then stood up to turn off the light so we could go sleep in our bed.

“Is it okay Lisa?”, Jennie asked.

“Yeah, you can”, I replied with an affectionate smile.

The moments the lights were off, she immediately ran and jumped on the bed. She tucked herself under the covers and hugged me. She was hugging me. I could feel the soft touches of her legs and arms. It’s getting hot. I lowered the covers a bit on my side. I was pretty sure the heat was coming from the intimacy of our positions and my rapidly beating heart. I could feel the beads of sweat which were pooling in my body. Stop it Lisa! Jennie might notice.

I forced my heart to settle down to be able to sleep although I highly doubt it when I was in the presence of an ethereal being that was just too beautiful to handle. It felt like hours when drowsiness finally consumes me to rest and sleep preparing for the horrific events that was to happen at less than 24 hours.

Multiple clicking sound was reaching to my ears. It sounded horribly like the shutters of a camera and right when I opened my eyes, I immediately wanted to shut them back. Rose was holding her cell phone which was pointed at her and Jennie. What? I was thinking as to why, when I tried to stand up, I realized. My arms were trapped in the body of Jennie, my legs were immobile as it was tangled in the mess of the sheets we have created. My stomach dropped and suddenly became heavy at the thought of the two us cuddling and nuzzling at our sleep like lovers. I tried to get up without waking Jennie up, much to the redness of my face and Rose’s muffled amusement. Suddenly, Jennie tightened her hold unconsciously.

“Maybe she thinks you’re a pillow”, Rose whispered with glee.

“Shut up”

I was finally able to stand up but Jennie was awoken all by the ruckus resulting in a very grumpy Jennie. She glared at Rose who was laughing her heart out but in fear of Jennie’s glare, she muffled it up and went to the door.

“Bye guys”, Rose mused.

Jennie was a hot mess every morning. It was utter torture to see it every morning but I guess it will also be considered torture not to see it. She looked at my way with scrunched up brows and a questioning gaze only for her to come back to bed like nobody woke her up.

“Yah!”

“We’re glad that you haven’t forgotten about us”, Jisoo stated.

“We love you guys! We dedicate each of our songs to you”, Jisoo couldn’t help but to chuckle when she saw the previous comments. And then it started, we talked about what happened with the previous months and what we’re currently doing. We had playful conversations with our fans. Our conversations mostly concerns what we were currently doing.

“Awwww guys, we need to eat now”, Rose said.

“Yep, Rose need to cook now”, Jennie said in a pouting manner.

“Just like you”, I couldn’t help but say it to Rose in an endearing manner especially because of the whole kitchen-talk. Big Mistake.

I just realized what I had said and it must’ve made a misunderstanding because the members have suddenly gone quiet. The comments though were flooding with Chaelisa.

“We have to go now”, Rose said as Jennie turned the vlive off and pocketed the phone.

Oh no, I should never have said that. This is the consequence of having confidence. If I was in my previous state, I wouldn’t talk like that and everything would’ve been better. I shouldn’t have been too confident at talking and spouting thing I don’t thoroughly think about. Rose said that it was good to have freedom in talking where I wouldn’t have to think so hard on what I should say but things like that are for people like Rose. Those things aren’t for me, given my circumstance, my predicament. I should have just kept my mouth shut. Jisoo seems unbothered but it was Jennie I was worried about. She seems to be thinking about something, she was staring in the table so hard, I think it’ll melt. I was worried that Jennie will think that I’m hitting on my members now, that I’m some kind of hormonal teenager.

Jisoo proceeded to stand up to go to her room. Rose, quick enough to sense the tension in the couch, grabbed my hand to lead me out to the kitchen. She saved me once again. I was thankful that Rose didn’t misunderstand the situation.

I was scared of what might happen next, this might be history repeating itself all over again. God. I no longer want what happened to happen again. If only I never talked, then everything would be fine. My face reflected worry and problems and Rose was just too caring to notice it. She placed the cooking oil onto the pan as she called onto me, only to give me a comforting smile.

I ended up helping Rose at the kitchen. She laid the meat down at the pan, giving a sizzling sound and a fishy aroma. She then proceeded to boil water for a ramyeon side dish, it wasn’t instant ramyeon and it just looked so tasty with all the vegetables and seasoning in it. We are really going to get fat. Just as the noodles and vegetables were boiling, the rice cooker sounded, signaling that the rice was cooked.

“Here”, she gave me a small piece of powder covered muffin, I bit on it happily. It turns out, Rose was carrying a pack of muffins around.

I then, started plating and after finishing the table, I returned at the kitchen. Where Rose was cleaning up.

“I swear, you are a blessing to this group.”, I said.

As Rose looked at my direction, she couldn’t stop laughing. I was so confused as to why but she was just laughing at my face. I proceeded to the countertop to get my phone and check if something was in me.

“Yah Lisa, you’re such a messy eater.”, Rose laughed hard.

She neared me at the counter and after sufficient investigating with my phone, powder was in my cheek. I didn’t know how powder got to my cheek but it must have been when I bit on it. The muffin was just tall and its’ top was covered with powder to reach my cheek.

“That's too sweet to pass up, don’t move”, Rose said.

“What?”, I asked confused.

It was only then when Rose was leaning on me that I realized that I was trapped. Rose’s arms were by my side at the counter. I stood there thinking that she might just blow the powder away so I stayed still but things turned out really different. Rose leaned in and kissed the spot at my cheek.

What was happening? I felt my stomach become slightly heavy at the position and moment we were sharing. Her lips stayed long at my cheek and when she returned to her initial position, I was a blushing mess.

Why did Rose kiss my cheek? Well, Rose casually kisses my cheek but why did she kiss me to get some food powder out? I just saw Rose smiling comfortingly and my doubts seemed to go away. It was stupid of me to think that Rose was acting out of order. This is just her.

A cough sounded on the wall in the kitchen entrance. Oh no. Jennie was just standing there, seemingly frozen. Now, Jennie might misunderstand that there is something going on between us or worse, I was trapping Rose to a relationship. Me and Rose immediately moved out of each other’s way.

Jennie just proceeded to the table as I followed quite crestfallen at the turn of events. We ate quite slow the table except for oblivious Jisoo who was eating a lot. Jisoo started a conversation about how good the food was and we just continued complimenting it in hope that tension will ease up. Fortunately, we were now in talking terms but Jennie had still stayed quiet, I feel a wave of depression hit me.

Suddenly, Rose lifted up a fork with meat on it.

”Yah Lisa open upp~”, Rose giggled.

My mood was suddenly lifted. We always did this on each other. We were just close like that so I took the meat to my mouth and smiled at her. Jisoo just smiled at our close connection. I was glad she wasn’t misunderstanding anything. I guess she truly accepted me but when my eyes landed on Jennie, I grew scared.

Jennie was red. She was mad. She was glaring at our direction. Oh no. What the hell have I just done? She’s disgusted and mad. Maybe she thinks that I’m taking advantage of Rose’s caring and innocent nature. Oh God no. She was staring at our direction and I’m sure she’s worried for Rose, that I’ll do something to  her.

“What were you two doing at the kitchen?”, Jennie asked, hate prominent in her voice.
