A Path With No DestinationYoojung’s POV
I began to feel panicked. I quickly looked around for Elly. Once I saw her I grabbed her arm and dragged her out of the store. After a minute of aimlessly dragging her she stopped her feet and asked “Yoojung, what’s wrong with you?” As I caught my breath I replied “I just wanted to go home, the food from earlier isn’t sitting well.” I could tell Elly wasn’t buying it but nevertheless she complied “Alright I’ll take you home then” she said then started walking towards the car.
Doyeon’s POV
I haven’t had much to do since I’ve been back in Seoul so I decided to head downtown to visit some of the old places I would go to. However I could hardly enjoy my alone time cause of the frequency of my phone ringing. “I’ve only been back for 3 days and Yeonjung has already started pestering me.” I said out loud while rubbing my temples. I looked down at my ringing phone again in frustration, but decided to finally answer it, “What do you want.” I answered with a venomous tone “That’s not a way to talk to your fiancé who you haven’t seen in years.” I heard an energetic Yeonjung say on the other line. “Just cut to the chase.” I urged her. “Wellll I was hoping you could tell me where you were so we could have lunch.” She replied in a hopeful manner. “No thank you.” I responded, then proceeded into another clothing store and once I came out I saw Yeonjung standing there smiling. I was shocked “How did you find me?” “Easy, your dad tracked you for me.” She replied nonchalantly. I shook my head as she linked our arms and dragged me around.
Yoojung’s POV
Elly and I arrived at my apartment without further discussion of my prior panic. We drank wine and I continued telling her about my experiences in England. “Although I did have fun there I missed home a lot while I was there.” I said while reminiscing about memories I had here. Elly looked at me tenderly, “And while you were there I missed you.” She replied while making direct eye contact with me. I could feel the tension rise as she leaned in closer and closer to my face, but just as she was about to make contact I pulled away. She looked away seemingly disappointed “I’m sorry, was it too fast?” She asked. I shook my head and said “No, it’s not that, I just have too much on my mind.” She sc
