Black. That was the only thing Myungsoo saw as he lost his consciousness after being hit at the back of his head. He did not know how long he had passed out but it felt like an eternity. When he opened his eyes, his vision was blurry and his whole body was sore, taste of blood was very strong in his mouth. He tried to rub his eyes in order to see more clearly but he did not have the energy to even move his fingers. Bruise and blood covered his whole body and his shirt was severely tattered.

Before he could regain his stamina, Myungsoo could heard some people talking loudly around him as he was getting dragged helplessly by a man in suit who was wearing a mask. He glanced to his side and he saw a familiar face, his group leader, Kim Sunggyu. Myungsoo tried to reach his leader’s hand but his body was still unresponsive towards his brain. Focusing his eyes, he tried to find a sign of life from the still body beside him, hoping to sense at least a jolt or breath from the older.

Slowly he was getting surrounded by more bodies, which he recognized as his group members, although his sense was not fully back. They were dragged using the same method as when the masked man dragged him. As he slowly regained his energy, he looked at Sunggyu’s body once more, examining the man from below to top, calmly at first. However, his calmness did not stay for long as he saw the older’s eyes, staring blankly towards the sky without blinking even once.

Myungsoo closed his eyes while tears slowly wetting his bloody face. He wondered if what he saw was real, that his leader who had guided him for the last 9 years would not be there for him anymore. Blinking his eyes several times, Myungsoo tried his best to look at his side once again, hoping that he saw wrong as he prayed to whoever could answer his prayer. When he slowly opened his eyes, he was forced to accept the fact that Sunggyu was truly gone. Sunggyu’s small eyes were empty and his face showed a somehow calm expression he must had maintained while dying. The fact that his leader calmly accept his death broke Myungsoo’s heart even more, his heart felt like it was squeezed to the point where the pain was not possible to describe. Although he felt like he was dying, Myungsoo tried his best to stay strong with the hope of guiding his other members. He recollected his thoughts and tried to find the things that could help him stay alive.
