There was one thing Yejin didn't need Gem and Yixing to teach her and that was sneaking around. Being raised by Poseidon meant she had gotten extremely good at, if not mastered, sneaking out of her guarded apartment, into Poseidon's office at the casino and into plenty of parties. Now as she climbed the stairs to the fourth floor she had an unsettling feeling of deja vu of the night she fled from her first ever murder. She was on her way to her second, colt tucked into her waistband and heart racing wildly in her chest.

Part of Yejin had expected there to be guards up guards on the fourth floor especially outside the level door, but there was no one. Either Suho was that cocky that he thought there was no threat to him, or he was slipping up. Yejin wasn't about to believe either as a possibility. Before she stepped through the door she removed her wedges so her stops wouldn't make noise as she walked the halls. Leaving her heels in the stairwell Yejin pulled the door open and slid through with held breath.

There was no one on the other side. The halls were bare and the lights seemed to be slightly dimmed. It was eerie and it gave Yejin pause.

As she neared the first door in the hall on her left she inched up on the wall. She put her back parallel to the wall and slowly looked into the rectangular slit window in the door to see if there was anyone in the room. It was dark and seemed empty. Releasing a shaky breath she continued down the hall doing the same thing to each room she passed until she hit a bisecting corridor and had to make the decision to either continue down the same hall or turning left or right down the adjoining hall.

Yejin fidgeted as she checked all three directions trying to decide which way to go to find Suho. Ahead of her the hall was completely dark, which was more than likely not where he was hiding. To her left the hall was slightly dimmer than the hall she was currently standing in or the one to her right. Swallowing her nerves she made her decision and started to the right, her feet chilling against the tile floor as she padded down the corridor. As she checked the first few doors she suddenly became highly aware of the gun brushing against her lower back. Soon, it was soon she would use it again.

She was on the fifth door of the hall when it flew open and before Yejin could react a hand grabbed her by the collar and yanked her inside. Another hand shot out and covered just as a scream was about to erupt from her. She struggled, tried to break free the way Yixing and Gem had taught her, but whoever grabbed her was extremely tall which left his face out of the reach of her head, and was exceptionally strong locking her body firmly to his. Yejin knew it was a guy holding her by the flatness of his chest and the faint scent of woody cologne that flooded her nostrils, but she barely played with that thought as she struggled to get free from his grasp.

She was about to stomp on his foot when breath hit the side of her face sending an unsettling shiver down her spine causing her to freeze. She gulped nervously as the hand over pressed harder to her face while she felt a blade press to her side by her kidney from the arm around her waist flexed.

“Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you when you've ruined my reputation,” the man sneered into her ear.

Yejin's brain took a moment to comprehend his words and place who she had ed over recently. The name clicked at the same time the hand silencing her slid down to , squeezing slightly causing discomfort, but not choking her.

“Well,” she started, voice calmer and far more steady than she thought possible at the moment, “for starters, Dragon, that would only make Suho happy.” He grunted, though she wasn't sure if it was a good sign or not, but she carried on anyhow. “Secondly, I can pay you triple what he was willing to give you for my life for several jobs I need done. Even more if you're willing to work on retainer for the next few years, maybe more. Never know in this economy anymore,” she offered. A forced amused grin pulling up the right side of her lips as she tried to lighten the heavy atmosphere around them.

The assassin snorted in sarcastic humor. “I said one, smartass,” he hissed. His knife digging into her side, she could hear the fabric of her shirt tearing against the razor sharp edge, the blade starting to kiss her skin, threateningly.

“Neither of those good enough?” she questioned. Her heart in hammering away like it was counting the milliseconds she had left to live.

As Dragon responded his teeth grazed the cuff of her ear menacingly, toying with her like a lion with a mouse. “What do you think?” he challenged, voice deep, reverberating in his chest that was pressed to her back shaking her slightly.

No wonder he's so feared, he's ing terrifying! she thought as she took a long breath in the hopes to remain calm. It wasn't quite working, her heart was still drilling away.

“I was thinking that maybe your revenge for Suho was greater than your need to finish a job he hired you to do, after all if you kill me then he wins. Against me, against you and he'll get to sit smugly on his high horse.”
