To My Unknown Lover

It's a common misconception for people

that call themselves ARMY,

and so many of us there are,

 

It's a trap that I've

fallen for as well

(I'm sorry)

 

It's the idea 

that we know you,

and that you know us in return.

 

I know and love your laughs,

your boxy grins,

and your dimpled smiles.

 

I enjoy your energetic yells,

or philosophical debates,

or funny exclamations.

 

But I don't know the cause of your smiles,

or your yells,

or if they're really even happy.

 

Try as I might,

I don't know your minds,

and I don't know your hearts.

 

I'm sorry for falling for the trap,

I'm sorry for loving you,

I know that you are strangers.

 

I know that we are strangers,

but then again,

aren't all lovers?

Chapter 1: And to think I even thought for a SECOND that this was going to be a smooth sailing story...

Even after reading all your other stories I thought maybe...maybe there's a small chance, and then I read the last three lines -_-

And I'm totally willing to see you experiment with this writing style, it doesn't make you want to skip the passages of reading so much in this poem style writing. Also, it can put more emphasis on words uncommonly noticed or less noticed than usual. Looking forward to it(getting emotionally wrecked). ^ - ^
