The rest of the school week had been much calmer than the first few days. Tae and Soo’s rivalry had chilled, at least for now. Tiffany and Taeyeon were still meeting at McDonald’s every morning, but whilst Taeyeon and Tiffany became closer, it seemed that Sunny and was desperately forcing distance between her and Yuri. This spiked curiosity in Taeyeon and she began to question what exactly happened between the two girls. Taeyeon tried to ask Sunny directly about what was going on between the two, but obviously being the stubborn girl she was Sunny wouldn’t let even a sliver of information leak. When Sunny was adamant about withholding information to herself, she was as immovable as that iceberg the Titanic hit. All attempts to squeeze any juicy details of her love life were futile, so Taeyeon would need to find out through other means. Since Tiffany and Yuri were close friends, she thought it could be possible to interrogate Tiff for the inside scoop between Yuri and Sunny. But how would she bring it up? Was the real question.

Even though Tae and Tiffany obviously enjoyed each other’s company, they were rarely together because of their class schedules. They didn’t have a single class together, Tiff was always busy doing dance practice in the breaks and they didn’t live in the same direction so Taeyeon could never walk her home. Trying to find time with that girl was a nightmare. Taeyeon slumped against the bench, feeling hopeless about her situation. She really wanted to help Sunny out, but she needed to know if Yuri was a jerk that did something terrible to her, or if it was simply a misunderstanding. And the only person outside Sunny and Yuri who would know anything about that would be the eye smiling queen herself.

Sadly, the only time they had together was in the mornings, at McDonald’s which they technically shouldn’t even have, considering they’re skipping morning periods every time they do that. “What to do??” Taeyeon wondered as she shoved her face into her palms. “She’s always so busy, should I just visit her during dance practice? No, that’d probably be weird. How about asking for her number?” Taeyeon knew this was probably her best option for getting more conversation time with the girl, but then came another problem. “I’ve never even asked for a number before, how would I initiate that whole conversation??” Taeyeon continues to talk to herself, not knowing someone had been listening to her the whole time, behind the corner.

Taeyeon her front camera of her phone and began to practice various ways on how to approach Tiffany for her number. “How’s it going sweet thing, can I have yah digits? UGHH NO that’s disturbing. How about, Hey Tiff nice weather we’re having isn’t it? See that cloud up there? Looks like a number eight, do you have any other numbers you want to show me *wink* *wink*.” Taeyeon once again forces her palms into her face.

“Ugh, Taeyeon, why are you so hopelessly embarrassing?” At that moment Tiffany could no longer hold it in and just burst into tears from hearing Taeyeon’s terrible lines.

“HAHAHA, Oh my God Taeyeon I’m so sorry. But that was too funny to interrupt.” Tiffany continued her laughing as she approached the embarrassed girl.

“YAH!!! I thought you had dance practice!! WHY ARE YOU HERE!!!!?” Taeyeon couldn’t think of a calm way to change the topic, so she decided all-out rage would show her manliness. But of course that didn’t work, Tiffany was still laughing uncontrollably.

“Aish Taeyeon you’re so cute,” Tiffany said between laughs, so it couldn't even reach Taeyeon’s ears.

“YAH what are you even saying? Stop laughing at me!” Tiffany tried her best to calm herself, but she only lasted a few seconds when she noticed the vibrant red shade Taeyeon’s face had become. Tiffany had once again let out a loud laugh. “Fine, if you’re gonna be like that I’ll leave.” Taeyeon picked her stuff up and began to move off towards her next classroom, but Tiffany had just managed to muster enough strength to pull her back to the bench.

“Hey, you can’t leave yet,” Tiffany said as she tried to catch her breath.

“Why? You’re just gonna laugh again.”

“If you don’t stay how can I give you this?” she holds out her hand to Taeyeon.

“I’m not in the mood to give you a handshake.”

“Look closer silly.” Tiffany turns her hand over, revealing ten digits written on her palm. Taeyeon’s eyes widened at the sight, she couldn’t even believe this was really happening. “You gonna write it down or what?” Tiffany smirked, seeing the surprise on Tae’s face was just too cute. It became apparent that Taeyeon was much too shocked by the whole situation, that she forgot how to move, speak and even breathe. “Aish is this girl having a ?” Tiffany thought. So instead, Tiffany retraced over the number in pen and pressed her palm against Taeyeon’s forehead. “Okay, TaeTae I’ll see you next week. Remember if you look at it through a mirror, it’s the opposite way. BYEBYE!!” She blew Taeyeon a kiss and walked off to her classroom. Once Taeyeon had finished observing the way Tiff’s hips moved as she walked, she finally awoke from her trance. “Well, that went a lot worse, but also a lot better than expected.” Taeyeon thought, referring to obtaining Tiffany’s number.
